  1. Facebook, should be closed down until they stop allowing known lies and supporting Russia by allowing their lies. They make fox views look patriotic,SHUT them DOWN!!!

    1. The solution is the same as getting rid of evil politicians. Pay attention, and when you recognize or are made aware of the problem, just say NO. Don’t use Facebook. Tell others you don’t use Facebook, and why.

BTW — Kudos to Mr. Benioff for his public statement.

  2. A line should be drawn where lies affect lives. Shouldn’t the President and everyone else be held to the same standards we expect from our own children?

    1. @Jeff Brinker Yep, no straw-manning or parodying of the arguments of those with a view point at variance to your own there.

    2. @Flabby Bum
It’s not more complicated than that, you’re attempting to make it sound more complicated than that. The bottom line is that it *IS* exempt, which is why people are trying to remove their exemption. You’re trying to rabble rouse over a non-existent issue, and you’re failing. Give it up. I have no idea why you seem to think that holding a multi-billion dollar world-wide corporation accountable for their actions is somehow going to affect “free speech”. Everyone will still be able to say whatever they want, the only difference is that Facebook will no longer be immune from accountability.

  3. I let facebook go yrs ago,,been just fine without it.don`t care for the zuckerberg mug,,typical rightwing schmuck like this guy.

    1. I canceled mine a few days ago when Zuckerberg met with Trump and agreed to allow Trump’s political ads to be exempt from fact-checking

  4. Remember when Mark asked the Chinese Prine Minister to give his unborn child an honorary Chinese name? The guy is an absolute axx kisser. He is married to a Chinese woman. He is trying so hard to get China to allow Faceback in that country. He is already a billionaire. Why not do the right thing and get rid of the radical right wingers ads????? His ego and greed is out of this world. I can’t stand looking at his face. It says everything about who he is.
When companies refuse to do the right thing, the government needs to step in.

    1. @Nicollete Sand Yes glad you asked. Could you also read into George Soros and the non-government organizations (ngo) and non-profit organizations and how he is not wanted in Russia, philliphines and many other countries because of the damage he’s done to their economies so he can profit off them. Also look into the bank of England and how he profited $15 per person overnight. If he did that in the U.S like he would love to do he would profit 5 billion in 24 hours.. anyways I could go on and on.. why are you saying things like “facist” that’s just silly. I’m a human that looks at things with logic and reason a realist. Start researching as an open biased human like a scientist if you will, the type of critical thinking you learned in 8th grade, go.. go on now..

  5. Thank you for bringing this conversation to an adult level. THANK YOU!!!
(edit) If facebook is financially unable to monitor what it is they are publishing, then they do not have a viable business model.
Yelling fire in a crowded theater is not protected by the first amendment AND facebook itself is responsible since they are publishers. What would be the alternative – U.S. taxes being spent on behalf of facebook?

  6. It all comes down to the difference between ‘authentic’ and ‘coordinated inauthentic behavior’
    😉

  7. Facebook, a place for egos to be fed and as addictive as sugar, nicotine, caffeine.
    HIT ME! LOL!
Just try and get your ID back once you give it to them?

  8. Ck out .. False Flag attack on Seattle on Nov 03, 2019…… by kochen mit Willi

Joe & Mika warn us about an attack on Seattle

  9. If freedom of speech won’t be upheld on “social media”, then “social media” platforms should be treated like news outlets and held accountable.
