Trump cares more about immediate short-term forest management solutions and CA needs to do a better job by working with the federal government. Climate change is real, but to reverse it will be a long term project in the next decade or more for the next generations.

There are crews surveying the burned out homes for incinerated Americans. I read that a 1 year old baby died is listed amongst the dead. Trump laughs as people burn to death. He laughs about COVID-19 while talking to Woodward. The tape from the last call in August show Trump repeatedly asking if he gets credit for the stock market and Woodward repeatedly tells him that the 170,000+ dead at the point is more important than the market. Trump never says a word about the people who could have been saved if he had instituted measures even a week earlier.
