  1. In ’73 I heard all I wanted to know about Watergate, and then some, on breaks at work. I wonder what workplaces will be like tomorrow.

    1. The big difference is In watergate Nixon was Guilty of trying to have confidential files removed from Government possession, he admitted to being involved. But Trump is a victim of a coup.

    2. @matt Stock so wrong you got it
It’s much more serious crime trump has done. He ask a foreign country to commit intervention to give him dirt with on a possible opponent.

Nixon wouldn’t handle over tapes on different conversation with his staff and they destroy a ton of documents.
But this was a crime on domestic violence , not involving a foreign country to do a sitting president a favor to dig up dirt on a opponent.
That’s it’s a traitor act by law and the constitution
      .

  2. Just an FYI: We, my partner and I, are of the older generation where we have experienced two of these impeachment proceedings. This will be our third. How extraordinary.

    1. @Just the Facts I do need to tell you that trump LIES, and that the LAW WAS NEVER CHANGED please show willing to be informed and fact check that

    2. @Just the Facts thank you for your gracious reply, I mean it, I was expecting another bombast about my ability to discuss. However, you can not persuade me to turn back to the church. I am fine with people living by their interpretations of the bible as long as you give me the right, without prothelesizing to my interpretation. The bible was not written by God it was written by men in a time when women were held with little respect, so bible thumpers say that women should be quiet and be submissive to men. That is just 1 example of my problem plus the thought that God voted trump in….

    3. @Just the Facts sorry I thought I was being quite magnanimous to you, not insulting you for your beliefs while silently hoping you would return the favour, obviously not. So stable minded you say? Is that like being a ” stable genius” like your president?

    1. David Hale right, victim is American Nation and damage of their interest. On behalf of America can state any legally elected represented authorized by majority of Congress. Zelenskiy – might be perform partner in crime. It’s has been proved the fact of delayed military-financial aid basing on term called “quid pro quo” (on behalf of private and illegal interests). It’s counted clear finished crime which include all 4 elements to qualify this actions exactly as the crime: object and objective side, subject and subjective side.

    1. @George Thompson thats hilarious- you thinking trump could possible skipper anything—- but a saiboat??? Can u say wuss overboard?

    2. No the song “Herd it from a friend that heard it from a friend that heard it from another” This should be the Theme song for this non impeachment hearing

  3. It is truly a tragedy for our country that our current impeachment hearings will be partisan grandstanding instead of a true investigation. During Watergate, most Republicans were more loyal to our country than to their party and were willing to admit that the Republican president had broken laws and tried to thwart our election. Now, however, Republicans are digging in their heels to protect their party instead of protecting our country. It is an American tragedy that history will judge harshly.

    1. @Cecil Mills In what way? Every Case can be appealed to a higher Court ending up at SCOTUS. Every Court Ruling can also be appealed again ending up at SCOTUS. They have the final Authority to decide if something is Constitutional. So whats your point?

    2. @Gunner DJ if you’re found innocent by jury that ends it . Only guilty verdicts can appeal to a higher court .

  4. “I’ll just storm in with my 40 fellow goons. We are legion! Expect us!”

    – Matthew Louis Gaetz II

  5. Can’t wait for the movie. It’s going to have all the juicy lies exposed. Meanwhile I hope he hasn’t done to much damage.

  6. The history books, college lectures and documentaries will not be kind to this president and his administration.  Too many scandals, dramas and lies in this administration and yet the GOP still defends Trump.  The impeachment is more about the GOP upholding their oath to protect the US Constitution.  The GOP that defend Trump will be judged by their peers, law makers, judges, churches, corporations, our foreign Allies and , most important,  everyday Americans.   Our
Government will bear the “Stains of Shame” of Trump for decades.  This is not about being a Democratic or Republican.  We need a president with honor and integrity that will protect our Constitution and unite our country.

    1. This has always been about Dem vs Rep. MSNBC and Democrats have tried to get him out of office since the day after the 2016 election. All those ‘scandals’ are Dems reaching at straws, and it’s very apparent because they didn’t go after Obama on similar situations.
MSNBC is just as corrupt and bias as FOX news.

    2. @Katie Kane u seriously think anyone was even close to this clown? If so they would also be toast w todays technology (surveillance). Katie we are talking billion here ………..

  7. The theme chosen by NBC was “Symphony Fantastique”, 4th movement “Marche au supplice” (March to the scaffold) by Hector Berlioz. Rather morbid choice, I say.

    1. There is also a theme to the Symphoony Fantastique, reflecting his own life. He fell for an opera singer who never answered his letters. The first three movements are his reaction to unrequited love, at the end of which he seeks refuge in opium. The last two movements are his opium dream, the March to the Scaffold and a Witches Sabbath.
He actually did impress the singer and they married —- found that the reality was different from the dream, and divorced. But we got the March to the Scaffold out of it, and if Donnie does somehow turn off enough Senators to get convicted, may NBC revive it.

    1. @George Thompson lol you mean MSNBC You are a Russian TROLL Please remember when you use a translator it doesn’t always form a proper sentence! You have been exposed!

  8. How ironic it would be if Trump’s Impeachment Hearing’s Theme Song happens to be the same as that of The Apprentice… 🤷🏽‍♂️

  9. *A President that has Putin’s interests first, America’s ENEMY. A President that has no respect for, in Trump’s words the ‘phony’ constitution. A President that pretends he’s for the Miltary while at the same time degrading Generals, gold star families, marines, navy seals, and the list goes on. Also lying (again) to the military about how he created choice for vets which again was created by Obama or how he gave the military their first raise in a decade when Obama gave the military a raise and their largest raise every year. A President that pretends to care about healthcare and promises to keep protections for pre existing conditions created by Obama, while at the exact same time is in court trying to take protections for pre-existing conditions away. A President that has told over 14k lies, and a President that is a criminal*

    1. Laura Walker – Trump is so defective, the worst possible assessment as to his character sounds like praise and worship OF him TO him.
And thanks for the lucid, coherent list of offensive performance…… ya missed a few hundred, though 🙂
THE most perturbing observation is the fact that he’s absolutely fully aware of his hideous performance and how toxic he is as a human……. talkin’ superlatives here……. and he’ll stop at nothing to seize power once again for the SOLE PURPOSE of wreckage of America……. as much time as he can get to wreck as much as he can. That’s what I call malice aforethought.
“I haven’t even started on those children in the border prisons yet……..”

  10. I won’t be able to watch those hearings tomorrow on nbc.com,etc. as I live in Australia. Unfortunately I will be watching it on CBS news YouTube instead.

    1. Cheri Carreon 👋🇺🇸🦘🇦🇺Luckily NBC News did stream it live on their YouTube channel. I woke up at 2am (unintentionally) and turned on my iPad to watch the live stream. History in the making.

  11. The Watergate hearings started with a “normal person” not involved in any of the crimes. That is the problem with the Trump impeachment hearings, where would you find such a person in his circle?

    1. @Florida Crypto R, now it’s clear why Melania cannot leave Trump. Highly protecting Byron away from the rests.

    1. @Lynn Wilhoite, Everybody is out to get you. You must see a Russian conspiracy around every corner.. ROFLMAO.

    2. The AI gonna take their jobs ASAP. Remember when they made that twitter AI that turned into a Nazi within 24 hours
