I’m glad you concur that Trump is not a physician, but Trump acts like he is one. A thought pops into his head, and since he thought if that idea, he feels it is credible.
When he informs the public of his idea to ingest a disinfectant, he doesn’t have the capability of comprehending the repercussions of his statement. He spews out opinions, and the people around him fear contradicting him for fear of reprisal ( that dreaded tweet).
It was reported this morning how calls to the Poison Control Centers spiked after Trump’s statement. There are many people who totally trust this man even with their health. You may have heard of the husband and wife from Arizona who both ingested Chloroquine on the suggestion from Trump. The couple wound up in the hospital, and sadly, the husband died.
Therefore, you can see how everyone should be very skeptical whenever Trump spews out thoughts on how to cure this virus, or they can wind up dead.
So, when it comes to medical advice, Trump needs to take a step back and let the real doctors take over. If not, the consequences can be deadly.
And no, I never pondered the thought of ingesting a disinfectant. I am not that gullible. If people have to call the Poison Control Centers, yes, those people are gullible enough to even entertain the thought of ingesting a disinfectant. We don’t need more Americans to succumb to this virus.
