Possibly, just possibly, this entire years long drama will have shaken everybody in the country up so badly, by testing every facet of government which has been found to be horrendously inadequate, that statutes will be rewritten. Where honour systems existed, all be entered into law including and especially presidents and their vices. This should be done to fortify safeguards to stop even the offchance of such events recurring.

@muadhib001 – Your statement that the “USA is a joke” is precisely why citizens must take their right to vote very seriously. No building is any better than it’s foundation. The foundation of America is the character, expertise and experience of the people that we elect to lead us. Too much sand in the mix and the foundation will crumble. People elected who have proven that they do not have the best interests of America or of Americans should not be given a second chance. These are about important issues. This is not about frivolous matters like the color of your suit or the location of your haircut. This is about did you make decisions or statements that ultimately led to the deaths of others? Why did you take such an action? Were your actions an effort to protect and preserve the USA, or was your intent driven by self-interest or even foreign interest? Americans have demanded self-auditing in every sector of our society for almost 50 years now. Do these politicians welcome or resist these efforts at quality control. We all know that Donald Trump has resisted every effort by the House Oversight Committee to the extent of taking every single question to court. Right now, the USA is a very deadly place to be, especially for those who consider themselves “friends” of the president. I hope that this next election brings out citizens determined to vote for the well-being and longevity of America. Make your vote count. Vote Blue. .

@Silky – Presidents have attempted court packing before. However, we currently have a Senator that has “gone rogue”. He has usurped many of the powers and duties of the President of the United States of America when in reality he is simply one of two elected Senators from a very poor State. He has chosen to get rich through bribes, graft and other forms of corruption. He and the Federalist Society, not Trump, have been packing the courts. It would be one thing if these people were noteworthy for their legal expertise, but they are not. This political fringe group is willing to put rapists, murderers, thieves or any other piece of scum on the Federal bench for a lifetime paycheck just as long as they agree to roll over on command. Trump has provided the distraction, while McConnell has actually been running the country or not. The only bills that the Senate has been allowed to work on during this presidency are the ones that personally help McConnell. He has been an unforgivable bottleneck in our Legislative Branch. When it became clear that Trump’s actions were jeopardizing the reelection plans of Republican Senators, McConnell put a halt on the second Stimulus Package. McConnell made it clear to Trump who was really in charge.
Enough of these books! Just EVERYBODY go and vote for Biden!
