  1. No they want illegal immigrants so they can pay them cheap labor….. These big company are sick ………

    • Chevy619 so you admit these rich company are exploiting them for cheap labor. That’s not right 100 times better but not America standards working condition.

    • @K Morgan Because the employer wants to employ CHEAP labor. Sub min. labor pay. They are the ones that should be footing the bill for these raids.

    • Karen Wentz undermining the economy

    • Japan has been very successful switching to automation, rather than taking in immigrants to fill jobs. They actually want to keep their country recognizable.. Get with the times. It’s the 21st century. Technology is the future. Not low-skilled third world migrants.

    Cruelty is the point

    • Yes, cruelty for those arrested and terror for those left behind.

    • @Jewel Levy Why the outrage now? Why no outrage when it was happening during Obamas term?

    • Michael Schwartz No….deflection from the mass shootings. Surprising how unorganized these raids were and they just happened to occur just after the Pres. visited the mass shooting sites. It’s the old …..Look Over Here….Not there…Here.

Rosa Lynn agree. We are all better off when we support everyone else. I also would like a much better foster system! We should be capable of caring for children in intermediate circumstances for a couple of years. I hope to have an extra $20-30k a year soon to be able to do it.

    • @Jennifer McGoldrick A foster home system that can track down parents, everyone that takes one of these children in would be taking on the task of tracking down the parents and reuniting them again. This is a well needed system that would be needed for the well being of these children. If they don’t find their parents they will only grow up with resentment towards the whole US system. I don’t have a crystal ball but I get a bad gut feeling about this.

    • @Jennifer McGoldrick Having a reunification foster system for children that need to be reunited internationally would be a dream come true. Maybe the UNICEF, UNHCR, International Red Cross has a program to reunite children even Amnesty International.

This situation could end up bigger than life, because we are talking about 680 workers that were in various plants and if all of them had a partner and knowing the culture of Latinos they have about 3 – 4 children per couple it would be very easy to see that over 1,000 children will be without parents. This system as it is now will be overwhelmed, because of the numbers.

We will see later on by next week when everyone knows the facts to the matter. Take Care

Rosa Lynn it’s infuriating and scary that this government is taking children and not keeping track of them. This one raid is an abominable number of families and children to be put into this situation, yet alone the border separations and daily state/county arrests. The damage we are causing is and will continue to be irreversible.

ICE hits food processing plants. Next they will hit farms and ranches, poultry and beef houses and dairy farms. By the end of the day, our grocery bills will soar and some of these small businesses will file bankruptcy. Anybody want to pick fruit in 90 degrees or work a 12 hour shift in a slaughter house for $10 an hour? Nope! This administration, if elected another term will destroy American society by starvation.

    • Japan has been very successful switching to automation, rather than taking in immigrants to fill jobs. They actually want to keep their country recognizable.. Get with the times. It’s the 21st century. Technology is the future. Not low-skilled third world migrants.

@polifatts you forgot to mention low skilled drug addicts in rural areas

    • polifatts lol japans population is decreasing at an alarming rate, their people aren’t reproducing, and their population is aging. They either have to take more young immigrants to balance out the ratio or they have to start making more babies. They are literally gonna whipe themselves out. In essence japan got issues too so, I mean.

Will Trump’s companies be assessed fines and jail sentences since they hired undocumented workers too?

  8. Taking them from a job that white people refuse to work good job America keep up the white Devils works

  9. America needs those workers!! Reform immigration law and allow them to work legally already!!

    • Let’s face it. If you don’t have creamy white face and blue eyes you better watch your back. Our American values have gone down the tube. I feel so sorry for those children and the parents.

    • The Blood Of Ogun #AlphaBlack #B1 Correction, many *WHITE American citizens don’t wanna work hard labor jobs, most factory or “dirty” jobs are filled by Latino workers, legal or not, construction/ contractor jobs as well, white people usually prefer office jobs, like it’s honestly true.

If we didn’t spend millions of dollars, and so much time and energy on this, we probably would be able to up the number of legal immigrants with no problem.

  10. So disappointed ! Really? After school starts?! 👎🤷‍♀️

  11. Trump is angry and deeply affronted at all the “fake news” (reality) and must up his punishments. King Trump. Forever an infantile human with far too much Ego.

Trump had folks like these immigrants working for him. May still have immigrants working for him. When are they going to raid his businesses

    • Exactly. Why didn’t the ICE raid the pxxx’s hotels and golf courses? Is it because he is the potus and is superior and above the law?

    • Donelle Miller | August 8, 2019 at 11:35 PM | Reply

@s.l. Leung so he thinks and so they allow – sad isn’t it? I hate seeing our country being drug deeper into the hole. In the end what are we going to have left :-(.

    • Trump recently fired all the illegals he had working at Maro Lava. Some had worked for Trump 10 years. But he fired them before his place was investigated.

    • @gramcracker Smart move. Being a potus to order the ICE to take such an action, it’s like playing the thief crying ” stop thief”.

700 jobs killed during 3% unemployment. Probably a $ million in fed and local tax loss and $5-10 M hit to local economy. Businesses short of skilled labor scramble to fill jobs or go out of business…. in one day!

Exactly!!! Now’s their big chance!!! Look at the amount of jobs available!!! They’ve been screaming about it for years!!! I would think the chance is 0 that anyone of these screaming idiots are lining up!!! I hope they do a follow up with these plants and find out how many Americans are working there.

They have to go after innocent people cause if they arrested real criminals they would have to arrest themselves.

  16. Paulie figueroa | August 8, 2019 at 7:13 PM | Reply

What about Trump? He had a lot of undocumented workers employed by him at his golf courses and hotels? Trump should pay for deportation and be fined?

    • Sunrise Sunset | August 9, 2019 at 6:21 AM | Reply

Exactly!!! I just posted before I saw your comment!!! He has done it for years until he got caught!!! Excellent comment!!!

    • andreas pedersen | August 9, 2019 at 10:14 AM | Reply

      Even MAL uses undocumented workers.
When he hired workers he followed the rules. He put out a small notice in the local newspaper and said: “sorry.. but almost no americans did apply, so we have to get them from somewhere else.

  17. Time for the Mississippi MAGA’s without jobs to show up in the food factory. Have a nice day!

    • Japan has been very successful switching to automation, rather than taking in immigrants to fill jobs. They actually want to keep their country recognizable.. Get with the times. It’s the 21st century. Technology is the future. Not low-skilled third world migrants.

    • Without jobs or teeth cause4 you know they hate Obama Care

    • Not happening. A MAGA Hat co-worker clocked-in and walked out at work last week. He got walked out when he showed up to clock out for that day.

  18. Heartbreaking 😢 my heart goes out to these children and their families. trumps cruelty never ends. You are right, food processing jobs are hard labor.

  19. Purple Flame Tarot | August 8, 2019 at 7:41 PM | Reply

Those are hard, hot and nasty jobs. Not many people will be beating the door for a job. trumP hires illegals, even giving them fake cards. Did they get all of them?? Maybe they should raid Mar-A-Lago.

  20. Hitler was democratically elected too. Welcome to a fascist state. That’s how it all starts.
