This is how war is. All the more reason to resist. How do make agreements with an enemy with no ethics? How do you make agreements with an enemy which doesn’t honor agreements?
You cannot make agreements with a liar, the only way is to defeat the enemy. And the world are fed up with russia and their threats, bullying and use of violence if they dont get what they want.

Ukraine and Moldova need mini grids. It’s too easy to knock out power that centralized.
The people, the cities currently need generators, but a longer term solution is for power banks, green tech micro-grids.

In my opinion, the risk of Russia rigging a nuclear reactor as a dirty bomb is really quite low, because it would be fairly easy to determine that they were at fault.
Besides that, the prevailing winds would carry the fall-out to ruSSia.

I know he’s speaking about a very serious subject, but every time I see Leighton, I see The Grinch.
I agree that all frozen Russian assets should be immediately liquidated and the proceeds go to rebuilding Ukraine and helping its citizens now. I can only hope that all the help that Ukraine is getting brings them success as swiftly as possible. Russia must be stopped, and prevented from ever again repeating these actions.

It’s of the utmost importance now that every country stands firmly with Ukraine. We must enable them to continue their inspirational fight for freedom and democracy no matter what. Putin must understand that he cannot just invade peaceful sovereign countries as he pleases. He must learn that we will not stand idly by while he destroys an innocent people’s infrastructure and commits war crimes. I really admire the discipline of the brave Ukrainians who are defending their home without attacking the Russian mainland. It must be very difficult to resist the temptation of bombing Moscow and other Russian cities and towns. It is a testament to their honorable strength of character to refrain from doing so. I had thought that waging war against a nuclear superpower would be fun.
There is no punishment severe enough for what Russia is doing in Ukraine. And Russia’s actions and the level of support for Pute within Russia’s population clearly demonstrates that if permitted to succeed now none of Europe will be safe in future from Russia.
That would be an unacceptable situation for all Europeans and requires that Russia and Russians pay a very high price for their actions, as extreme as what has been inflicted by them on Ukraine. Complete reparations, trial and execution for murder of Russian war criminals and politicians, and the complete financial destruction and cultural isolation of Russia and Russians from the rest of the civilised world.
It is time to finish Russia once and for all and the war should continue until Russia itself collapses. Even then the Reparations due must be paid by all individuals of its population.
A simple and effective action would be a $15000 cost for any visa for any Russian to travel to any western country.
This would be a contribution to reparations and also a clear and permanent reminder to Russians of their recent mass murders and the extreme contempt now felt for their race and country.
