  1. “A part of a healthy conscience is being able to confront consciencelessness. When you teach your daughter, explicitly or by passive rejection, that she must ignore her outrage, that she must be kind and accepting to the point of not defending herself or other people, that she must not rock the boat for any reason, you are NOT strengthening her prosocial sense, you are damaging it–and the first person she will stop protecting is herself.”
― Martha Stout, The Sociopath Next Door

    1. The Sociopath Next Door sounds like a book I would like to read. But how, truly, are psychopaths made? By not being loved and accepted by those they depend on most. Their parents. If they are rejected, mocked, demeaned, they will believe they are unlovable and thus cannot love others. They will not learn to get into the role of the other, and fail to love others. And thus fail to develop empathy. “Get what you can while you can..” If there is nothing left for anyone else, oh well. The ego remains diminished and the poor psychopath spends his or her entire life trying to fill that diminished ego, but never can. This courtesy of Sigmund Freud.

  2. “After 15 months of the pandemic, you can go back to talking to strangers and be in crowded places.”
    Me: There was a pandemic?
    Introverts: 😎

  3. She was quite underrated actress, along with Michelle Pfiffer — Their beauty overshadowed their acting talent and many questioned their ability to act.

    1. YES! So sad when scripts were written by the Satanist. Ruined Hollywood. RICKY GERVAIS got a lot of people looking into what became a farce.

Now its ALL about social engineering to destroy humanity. No wonder it’s dying.

  9. My mom met her on a flight once when she worked as a flight attendant back in the 90s. Sharon took the time to chat with her and sign a photo. She sounded like a class act then, and still is. I wish we got see more of her on screen again.

  10. Early in her career, there was something attached to her publicity that said she couldn’t act. I picked up on that, but then noticed that I was always attracted and interested in Sharon Stone’s work. She’s always interesting.
