    1. Tainjin was a bigger explosion but Lebanon is looking to have worse consequences like the beirut explosion has more injuries but almost as much deaths as Tainjin

    2. @l JK l Just ignore those nasty people. Probably they only speak one language. I could understand what you were trying to say and that’s the most important thing.

    3. @l JK l You got the point across perfectly fine the first time, most people who aren’t jack asses could recognize that english wasn’t your first language. Sorry for the rudeness from others. I didn’t even know about the Tianjin explosion until now, thank you for your comment. Very sad though.

    1. @Bob Kay The fact that Jewish-Israeli nationalists think everything is Antisemitism isn’t evidence of anything. It’s true that every terrorist and guerrilla group in the World wants these chemicals. It’s also true that every farmer in the World wants them. Lastly, it’s true that the ones who use the overwhelmingly largest amount of them are the farmers. Consequently, by induction, if you find a large store of those chemicals, it’s probably intended for farming.

    2. @Erik Jarandson Of course. There’s already a line on the owner of the ship. He’d abandoned it they said, I suppose financially, stranding some of the crew onboard whom stayed on it for months. So they confiscated the cargo. Why it then sat there for years is another story. But yeah, if 2 tons did what it did to the Fed building in OK City, then 2750 tons or whatever it was, was def for agriculture.

    1. It may have been, originally. It was confiscated by the government. Instead of disposing of it safely, they let it sit for six years, making it even more unstable. The government didn’t store it to make bombs, but they certainly didn’t worry too much about the civilians living near the warehouse, and in the end, they got a bomb. I hope those responsible get nice prison sentences for their laziness.

    2. MyImList what’s god got to do with this, it’s just human incompetence. Only a FOOL would believe that god was behind it.

    1. @Alarad Roux don’t think we need to water down anything. Intelligence (if real) does not lead to malice. It’s just about logic. Unless you can propose a counter scenario

    2. I would act as if an attack. Knowing it was foolishly stored there, is it so wrong to think it could have been used right where it was?

  1. It scary to think that someone in their own govt allowed such explosive materials to be stored in a city.

    1. It scary to think that some other govt did this as Act of war!. so who is seeking more middle east War ? Netanyahu?

    2. @David Kelly its a whole different situation, u should know better, they already found some connections with the terrorists who committed this attack , your Western media would never announce the truth. They will hide the truth , same way they hide the true origins of Isis alqaeda and all terror group’s.

  2. It was human stupidity. I concur with the interviewed man. Chemistry background myself. With regards to the fire, there are many power blackouts there, these can cause short-circuit, which can cause fire etc etc. Catastrophes rarely have one issue……..

    What a mess :(((

    1. @Randy Barber There were many complaints about the way and location the materials had been stored, they had been ignored for years. Accidents happen like this all the time, Remember in 2015 Tianjin china where the warehouse exploded? Very similar situation but there wasn’t any malice.

    2. But in order to have an explosion of that magnitude the fire must be confined at least to a degree for successful transition from a fire to an explosion like that.
So basically it has to be in a sealed pipe bomb type enclosure…Not a 25 year old dilapidated warehouse riddled with easy exit points for a blast to go out of.
Not to mention that it’s extremely hygroscopic..so that warehouse for storage is a no go unless you wanna see how big a warehouse sized , solid block of ammonium nitrate looks. So that denies the fire ability to spread effectively…it needs fresh oxygen.
Oklahoma had 2 tons (only 750 pounds less) of the same chemical and it only took off the front of the building while sitting 50 feet from it In an enclosed van that Im sure was 100x more sealed off than that old dusty warehouse was.

    1. Chris Chu don’t know why people like incorrect comments. The explosion would have to be large enough for the gases to rise high enough for them to be less dense than air. In any small explosion, the gases wouldn’t get high enough for them to expand out like that, creating the mushroom. Feel free to disagree with my facts though and use your 4 likes as proof.

    2. If there was a blinding white flash then it’ll be much more like a nuke. Look at the explosion in 2015 China Tianjin Explosion, that explosion had the white flash which happens when nukes go off

    1. @Carlos Diaz Carrera read previous reply. Looking for an argument, wrong guy. Give your opinion, I’ve already stated mine.

    1. @martin winther are you the person’s representative? How do you know they were joking?
I’m allowed to feel passionate about someone stupidity. If you don’t agree with me then combat my ideas with better ones. This immature name calling and irrational hate is childish. I really don’t care about Trump, I care about Marxism. The ideology that is fueling most people who hate trump seems to be some sort of post modern, Marxist ideology that I am dead against. Millions of people have died fighting this, so me simply being passionate in the face of it in a comment section does not warrant me to “chill”.
I will never be silenced of my hate for the oppressed vs oppressed narrative. It’s evil and immoral and always leads to death of millions.

    2. @Carpentry First i did edit my post and called it a comment instead. combat? dood.. plz, relax. youre not being attacked. and were not talking about marxism. Your desperation for finding something to attack is astonishing. Vid is about a giant explosion that have killed multible people, injured 1000s and the prospect of getting a surge of homeless is imminent. And there was a a casual crossover comment to the prospect of 1m americans becoming homeless if nothing happens very soon. Its not an attack on you or your ideas, what you like or dont like. Its not about you. Its just a cynical remark to whats at stake in both countries. But you flipped upside down as if someone was about to burn your house down. relax man, – at least stay on topic

    3. @Hawkzblade Take a message from the BLM-DNC crowd – “Property can be replaced.” | That is what America is going to look like if Trump doesn’t win. | Was it a bomb or peaceful protesting?🤔

  3. You could hear the despair and hopelessness in her voice. She was almost crying. Still, I hope she finds strength to carry on and have success in the end for herself, her family and her beloved country

    1. @Bob Kay well since Israel has already said they do not think it was an attack, I am doubting that…plus it has sat there for six years….someone just got lazy and the result is a horrible catastrophe. Not everything is a conspiracy, I know I am getting sick of hearing that everything is a secret undertaking to attack someone…without evidence.

    2. @Julie Teh Right now she’s just trying to keep moving and breathing. It’s an absolutely horrible time. Lebanon is a country that needs international support. She said herself, even prior to the explosions, Lebanon is virtually a failed state. And one thing that hasn’t been mentioned, Lebanon is of course hosting a huge number of Syrian refugees. It’s a backbreaking crisis.

  4. I wish 2020 would end and 2021 would be better for the world😭
    💔my deepest condolences💔. #prayforlebanon #staysafe

    1. @Mason I write Hezbollah is responsible , and both get deleted but seems we can blame Israeli freely

    2. it’s most likely not gonna get any better in 2021, coronavirus will still be here and I personally believe that there might be more quarrel since people might feel very trapped during quarantine

    3. @john adams
yeah well that is dumb as expected.
like a country blowing up its own arms dump.
      LMAO,.
and isreal has been doing terror attacks in Iran.

  5. I am lebanese and i cried watching this.
My sorrow cant be put to words.
This women right here spoke out of my soul and said what should have been said. I hope lots of people watch this.

    1. Canada here. I am so sorry for you and for all of the people in Beirut. I send you a big hug from my heart.

    2. I think this explosion will highlight to the world the Lebanese plight because I wasn’t even aware of the problems in this country. Maybe this is a turning point for this country. That is the only positive one can possibly find at a time like this.

    3. American here and I am so sorry this has happened to you and the people of Lebanon. This is absolutely haunting and awful. To think everything can be taken from you like that especially because of negligence makes me so angry and sad for you. My heart is with you.
