Don’t compare the 2020 election with the previous ones. Nothing is the same anymore wit Trump.
One impeachment per generation? I am 51 years old, this is the third impeachment in my lifetime. It says something about the moral of the presidents in the last 50 years, much worse than in the 150 years before.
Presidents probably got away with more in the past, because the eyes of the country did not have so many media possibilities to follow them. I would imagine it was easier to hide wrong-doings in those times.
I think what they mean by “generation” is every twenty thirty years

A generation is “all of the people born and living at about the same time, regarded collectively.” It can also be described as, “the average period, generally considered to be about thirty years, during which children are born and grow up, become adults, and begin to have children of their own”.

In 1957 the US invented the internet. Since then they had little understanding of
how powerful it is for people to being able to communicate directly with one
another.
After the social revolution of the ‘60’s the US government
has been on campaign of dumbing down the education system of this country.
When Mosaic has released, the first internet browser to
transmit text and images on a page along with hyperlinks, the US congress tried
to scare US citizen away from using the internet sighting “… the dangers of
internet addiction…” The murderous duos
responsible for the Columbine massacre were falsely portrayed in the movie of
being sensitive nerds and internet hacks.
While the US government tried simultaneously to scare US
citizens from the internet and look for ways to control this new tool Russia
embraced this technology and encouraged its best minds to master the
technology.
This demonstration of the Russians being able to influence
US elections is troubling. Especially if
the Republican Party is too afraid of losing their seats to do their sworn duty
to defend the constitution of these United States.
It now appears Rudy Giuliani has always
been corrupt. Prosecuting is mob bosses’
rivals while keeping his Don’s interests free of investigations and prosecution.
Now that we have a criminal businessman bought and paid for
by the Russians in White House with access to all of our government and
military secret internet vaults and servers.
What access does Putin have to US troop movements, election electronic counting
systems, and US finical trading markets.
Russians have put their fingerprints on the tainted American
election process as a demonstration of what they can do. tRump’s presidential win is the Russian show
of force.
Well aware of that successful regime change by Vlad. So? Now we know what to expect.

Sara Pulford I know. It’s a real problem here. BUT, enough people got their votes counted to place several democrats in office and gave Pelosi back the speaker’s gavel in the House. Hopefully, we can do the same in 2020. I feel for you too, politically speaking, I mean. ✌️
@Margo : Thanks for the political sympathy Margo. I’m feeling quite sick at the moment knowing Boris is another Trump where manipulating things are concerned. I’ve been watching America since last spring because I couldn’t watch the Brexit news and I was tickled pink about the blue wave in Nov which gave you back the House with Grandma Nancy as Speaker. She is also a manipulator but fortunately it’s for the good of your country. When people were condemning her for not moving I was posting “Just be patient” comments as I could feel her quiet anger and that she was waiting for Trump to open his big silly mouth and put his foot in it. And he finally did. I don’t know if he will ever be impeached but I am quite positive that he will not be standing for re-election next year. And you will be rid of him. I’m hoping you get Warren but Sanders would also be OK but I’m afraid he might be too old. I’m sure it won’t be Biden as I think Trump’s spite has stoped his efforts. And he’s also too old. Warren’s no chicken but she’s certainly got plenty of energy.

Sistah W agreed. Let’s give this one to Bernie Sanders. Nobody else has a track record like him. I mean, the man was arrested for handcuffing himself to a black man in the civil rights movement. We deserve unity, and someone who will fight to bring us together.
Same with Kamala Harris. Good people, not the right choice for president this election. And with so many choices, and such little support in Iowa and New Hampshire, they’re not likely to go far.
