    1. You know we printed 40% of America’s money in the last year-and-a-half inflation it’s supposed to hit but they’re not showing it why do you think people are buying gold why you think people are buying guns and food and there’s an ammo shortage

    2. @bootjesgek48
Manchin owns companies in WV one company he pay his employee’s ($8 something) and the other company he pay his employee’s ($11 something), now you know why he dis not want the $15 wage increase.

    3. @Danita Cook I’m not surprised to learn about him being owner of businesses were he doesn’t pay his workers a decent wage, these people want everything for themselves, and scew the others. He wouldn’t mind going back in time when they only had to pay the workers with a whip, they loved the slavery times, and still regret that that belongs to the past now.

  1. Manchin is a joke. He’s not a Democrat. He’s a fraud and needs to be voted out.

    1. I agree. Turn Manchin upside down and watch all the Republican lobbyists and special interest money fall out of his pockets. Dems need to put up a proven candidate in the West Virginia Primary to remove Machin from office in 2024. He is a liar and very corrupt.

  2. Notice when he refers to republicans, he says “my republican friends” and when referring to democrats, he says “my democrat caucus/colleagues.”

  3. Blah, blah, blah. And why does he keep saying “we?” He was alone in holding up his party.

    1. @James Irwin He’s the only democrat that can win WV. If someone manages to successfully primary him, they’d get slaughtered in the general election.

    2. @Retotion he got alot of security…i know its ppl out here want his head..just a matter of time…

  4. DISCUSTING that the minimum wage is NOT a livable wage – these are “ESSENTIAL” workers remember?

    1. He was right. Minimum wage did not fit in the relief package any more then the 91% of pork for Pelosi and Schumer in the bill.

    2. @Ginny Murray keep telling yourself that, he didn’t do anything to get rid of their pork. All Manchin cares about is the wage bill.

    1. He serves West Virginia. A seriously Republican state. He gets re-elected because he serves his constituents, not himself.

    2. @Bill exactly, they all just expect joe to go along with all democrat beliefs and give him no free thinking

    1. He’s a D(emocrat) I(n) N(ame) (O)nly and has little to no foundation in any of the real Democratic values and principles. A wolf in sheep’s clothing and he clearly loves all the attention and power he otherwise would never have coming from a run down insignificant state. A blackmailer, worthy to be real Republican Governor/Senator/Representative.

    2. I think I’m going to make a video showing the hypocrisy of youtuber comments. This will be my first example. Grow up, this isn’t only abiut your progressive agenda, it’s about all Americans and we need more people like Joe in congress. Partisan politics is so last year. Grow up.

  5. Funny how this currupt man of the flesh refers to republicans as “friends”
Are they ? Are you ?
With friends like y’ll, who needs an enemy

  6. I just gotta say, this man is a big lair,he’s dishonest and a traitor. He doesn’t care about the poor working class people.

    1. @Bill name one republican willing to do what you just said? They play a dirty game, and you know it.

  7. Joe Manchin should not ever get elected again, he works for himself and his corporate donors, no one else.

  8. His Governor said today he just another typical politician that cares about himself not his hurting people

    1. And don’t forget that the governor for the state of West Virginia is a Republican and a billionaire

  9. I always never trusted him way back when. He’s always been a republican in democratic clothing. Yuck 🤢

  10. “What I was doing was making sure my Corporate donors, all located outside West Virginia, continue to line my campaign coffers.”

    1. @John Olson I’m an RN in NY so I have the skills and make way more than that. In fact those making minimum wage in NY are already making more than that in my state because the cost of living is ridiculously expensive, but when I hear that some states are still paying in the $7 range I think that is incredibly low. I think there should be a compromise between $7 and $15.

    2. @John Olson Hi, imagine this. You’re at the bottom of the income pool living paycheck to paycheck.
You say: get a skill that can earn you a higher pay. Fine…How do you go about it? You go to school/ take an apprenticeship. Which takes time and money. If you’re ok with 5 hours of sleep per day and have a boss that is willing to be flexible about your work hours (very unlikely) maybe you can keep your minimum wage job at the same time, but chances are you’re going to have to quit or at the very least reduce your hours. Good thing living expenses magically pauses to accommodate your professional development. Oh and don’t get sick, remember you just lost your health benefits that are linked to your job (if it provided any, only full time jobs are guaranteed by law to have some health benefits, remember now your part time).
You say: Well save some money.
Except your living paycheck-to-paycheck, you don’t make enough so that you can save a significant amount that would afford you to make these sorts of investments.
You say: Well get skills that would earn you higher pay.
AND LOOK WHERE WE ARE GETTING BACK TO.
We can have a circular argument all day or instead you could consider the fact that the rest of the developed world adjust their minimum wage almost annually, while the US hasn’t changed its own since 2009.
Mmmhm clearly they are all doing it wrong. Only the US is doing it right. Because “muh freedum” or something.

    3. @John Olson Alright well here I go again.
It’s funny how life is not as hard anywhere else in the world.
I’m Canadian, I have free healthcare and my semester at a high reputation university costs me $1200. Our minimum wage is $12.5 an hour. I can pay for my semester in less than 100 hours of work.
I’m not here to brag, just to show off how much you’re letting yourselves getting screwed by voting Biden over Sanders (thinking he is more “electable” when Sanders was polling better with REPUBLICANS than Biden) thinking you irrationally need to appease the people that can afford the most.

  11. What in the hell is a “cultural need?” Everyone needs to eat and have a roof over their head. How asinine.

    1. Meaning he needs the poor white people in his state to vote for him. He thinks if the Bill’s end up benefiting black people and people of colour, he will catch heat from the poor white people in his state and be voted out. Remember some white people dont mind remaining poor, as long as people of colour are below them.
