In regards to the GI Bill, one of the first things that Ronnie raygun did was eliminate it and replace it with VEAP which stood for veterans educational assistance program that you were required to pay into for every dollar you put in the government would put $2 in. In his second term, the GI bill came back but it was not free to those serving unless you again sent money to the government. What type of administration was that again cuz I don’t think it was a democratic administration and in fact it featured what else, an actor 🙄
It’s not in Republicans’ DNA to do anything for average citizens unless some corporation and/or rich person benefits much more.
