Everyone has forgotten about people on Social Security. The cost of heating fuel, electric, and food has gone up. People who on Social Security are forgotten.
@Surtsey TT Henry Kissinger called us useless eaters! He’s 97 now I wonder how he feels now! Not that he has to worry about money, i just wonder how useful he is now.
They said we should get the stimulus I hear you I’m on Social Security and the amount of bills I have is more than the check I get so I sell my artwork. Unfortunately next month I’m going to have to stop driving because I can’t afford car insurance and maintenance anymore and I live in Maine in the winters are tough. We’re supposed to get a foot to a foot and a half of snow tonight and it will be difficult walking in January. Oh I want to make it clear I’m on Social Security disability insurance because I have half a metal pelvis from a car accident
This is also a very true and important issue.
I certainly hope the Government keeps us lderly Senior Citizens in mind and not just file away our Social Security card number in a drawer upon our last day.
I feel for you and reminded of how blessed I am. I pray things get better for you and everyone.

It was meant to be old age insurance .

@Gary Campbell I own my own gardening business and I have two degrees. I’m doing alright and my people are doing alright. thank you. Millions of others are not. They didn’t have the opportunities I had and are stuck in fast food or other retail jobs. That’s not counting the old folks who have been let go and still need an income. Their is a great division here. The rich make money off the poor hand over fist and you all say yep that’s the way it works. We have 2 jobs, morally speaking. Make sure we watch out for each other and don’t knowingly cause harm to others. That is something the rich need to learn. You too apparently.

Sanders’ grassroots movement was doing that for years, particularly after 2016 to educate, educate, educate, and it worked. Now we just have to continue. That’s what I keep doing for example. People are just lazy, and literally get their education from social media – it’s insanity!
