    1. Buy backs really Fcked me around 2-28 BUT I was able to dump a bunch of Shares. Should have held on to Nvidia though. Buy backs made me find out about Corona virus in February. Yes they should be illegal for sure but no legislator will support that

    2. TRUTH in what you just said! Democrats clearly are for helping the poor and middle class! The rethuglicons are clearly for big corporations and the poor and middle class be damned!!!!

    1. Imagine I’ve been reading comments from months and this is the first comic that I’ve seen that makes any sense. Everyone else is acting so passive and pointing fingers at Trump and the government and everybody else but not accepting responsibility.

Folks China is a communist country. If they can stand up for themselves and get results then we can do it here in the United States as well. This is a Democratic Republic and I don’t care how bad you think things are there’s no way that things are worse here than they are in China. The main difference is that the Chinese people have the strength to stand up for themselves and in this country we just sit around complaining an acting like this is just a reality show. This is our country and the future of our children. There are 300 million of us. If we applied pressure to government we could quickly fix a lot of these problems because we would get far better results applying pressure to a democratic republic government then the people in Hong Kong box from their government. Our own people in Puerto Rico rose up and got quick results but yet you can’t even get the average person to vote.

    2. @ryvr madduck the government is not taking care of people. They’re tens of thousands of people who don’t have food to eat

    3. @Rhonda Steele Which cult am I following? I’m as far from a cult as you can imagine but I bet you are part of a clan yourself.

    4. As a german,.. *Clap Clap Clap*
The only point is to make sure to keep food and water supply to all workers running protesting.
Rest is *Bring the System down!* & *Only restart the system with the main points like WORKER RIGHTS in place*
The people are the engine of a country. YOU make the country run. If you JUST STOP it 1week,.. The upper 1% can not breath anymore.
Absolut correct. I wish it would be successful BUT i have doubts bc the US workers are kinda broken pps with not strong enough will (as i can see it from far away) to do so. I hope i am wrong at this point. But IT IS INDEED the ONLY SOLUTION to change your corrupt country, peacefully into a developed nation including HC for all and smo like Bernie leading you guys into the right paths.
      And make no mistake,…
Conservative as well as Dems are corrupt. Pellosi is a coorp. payed LIAR
_Did SHE not say HC4ALL would cost TO MUCH??_
      *HOW COMES:*
*Germanys HC4ALL System made 21 Billion Surplus??!!*
      _I wonder why ?!?!_

    1. @Lucius Kiirus The Demonrats gave themselves a raise and went on Leave During the Pandemic that was killing our Loved Ones. The Demonrats have the blood of our Loved Ones on their hands.

    2. @Tulio Porrata Next the Democrats will belly ache how the rich are blame and that we the people need to give up freedom and money so another scamDemic will never happen again. Never waste a good crisis. Thats the Dem motto.

    3. Dont count on shoppers, we wont waste money on your chinamade crap, do make you rich. Stop shopping at Amazon, Jeff Bezos is a criminal, his workers starve to death, while he is shoveling it in

  1. I agree, National Regulations must be in place for ALL businesses concerning the safety of their employees PRIOR TO employees returning back to work

    1. National regulations for an employer to employ and employees to work? No thanks. I think we should be responding le and independent enough to employ and/or work without the government telling us when, where, who, and how.

    2. Absolutely right. In this digital age, it shd not take months to put out a protocol, based on science, not on what GOP Senate wd like to see. They could use the CDC guidelines, for a start, and form regulations accordingly, for industry, agriculture, small businesses, offices etc, but of course Repubs hate anything being regulated, even for public health and safety.

    3. @Ian Alan I AGREE……..lets go back to the good ‘ol days……..child labor, 12 hour work days, six days a week yeah yeah the GOOD OL DAYS OF NO REGULATIONS LMAO

    4. @steve ducell Slow down Steve. No need to get so worked up. The subject is additional regulations on who, when, and how a business owner employs due to COVID. I should have been more specific perhaps. Breath deep, fresh air, its all good bro!

    1. @Henry Banke An employees wage cannot be determined by the cost of living. Wages must be determined by ROI. A business can only afford to pay someone according to what their work and position generate in revenue. An employee however can adjust their living standards to their wages, or, if possible find employment that generates an amount of revenue that justifies a higher wage.

    2. Really! $15.00 is not a living wage, for all the $$$$ they’re making ,get grip and get a negotiator.

    3. @Lucius Kiirus Or perhaps the economy has been manipulated to the point of no return and the cost of housing/health insurance is unrealistic.

    4. Yes ! Not that cheap unemployment money they give us, when we are out or work. Who can survive on that ? And without a decent living wage as you point out, it’s hard to save money for the hard times.

    1. @Ian Alan Take an “essential job” instead of endangering other American so you can buy beer.

    2. @Bernard Gilbert You have that right! I neglected to add in a gradual responsible way. I’m no expert but the only way I can think of to go back further than we are would be a second more sever lock-down for a longer period of time.

    3. @wildcatter63 Actually, I took a temporary position at an assisted living home while on furlough. Personally, I wouldn’t go to a bar or restaurant right now. Not sure we should be telling a bar owner he is not allowed to do business either. When we re-open COVID will spike. Everyone knows that. The most reasonable process I have heard is for those in the high risk category and anyone having symptoms (unless tested to show its not COVID) or that has been exposed to COVID remain in quarantine. This including, of course, those who choose to remain in quarantine. The healthy and willing can re-open the country and absorb the spike. There really is not any other answer is there? We do not know that COVID is ever going away and even if/when we get a vaccine that may be a year or so away. I did find it peculiar though that when we first locked down liqueur stores and dispensaries were allowed to remain open being considered “essential”.

    4. Democrats tried to help, but republicons would only give more aid to big corporations this go around.

    1. Then the corporations bribe the politicians with that money. It’s gone on for centuries now

    2. It’s terrifying what is being done to the 99%. Why would people elect.trump to represent working people? Country club Republican.

    3. That is what republicons say! Why do poor and middle class Americons keep voting “republicon” when they are voting against there own interests????

  2. The GOP senate has already made the decision to bailout big business and NOT HELP average Americans and right now Moscow Mitch is only at work to approve more GOP judges instead of helping Americans devastated by coronavirus with 94,000 Americans dead and counting!!!!! 😳😳😳😳

    1. #MoscowMitch said, “Let’s wait and see what happens.” ie, let the American people go without food and no way to pay their rent.

    2. @Pete Lind I keep wondering what the 1% will do when there is no one with money to buy their goods and services plus they will have killed off all the people that wait on them hand and foot? Do they start to eat each other, one can only hope.

    3. 1.3 trillion for businesses, and NOTHING for those of us hourly wage earners who are out of work. That is what they said today on Fox News. They said we already got our bail out money, but that businesses need more.

    4. ….and we sit by as taxpayers and let them do it. ugh, it is our own fault. WE The People!!!!!

  3. EXACTLY, stop bailing out companies when people are barely making it but UNEMPLOYMENT you can’t get a hold of.
    There’s bills to pay.

    1. Steak n shake, the LA Lakers. These are “small” businesses and got bailout $ right off the bat? To go along with Trump tax cuts for the rich? It’s been a great 4 years for 1% ers.

    2. @Tulio PorrataThat’s right, the peasants need to work. They were born to bare the plow for the benefit of their betters in the best of times and give themselves’s up as cannon fodder in the worst. It’s the natural order.

  4. Did she just go down the republican talking point of people not wanting to go back to work ? How about paying people for the work they do ?

    1. The point was to demonstrate the lunacy in the position and to actually hear a view point that Republicans are largely out of touch with the people of this country.

Stop voting party lines and vote principles. In ant candidate and we the people need to stop allowing representative, congressmen being careers. That use to be a service position. Vote the clowns out with the clown in chief.

    2. @Solmom03 I’m voting out a Biden clown. He isn’t going to make the economy better. Also here a fact check if you take precautions and every one does life can resume back to normal and all but no Michigan protesters and the Democrat governor is not doing anything, stop blaming trump it’s both parties. You won’t listen because Demon crats only listen to themself.

    3. Life so you can ignore ALL the other ish that this president has done and is doing because the other choice is a “demon”crat.

      Talk about don’t listen…

  5. If you Google the tax rates for 1960 1965 you’ll see what’s the tax rate was and those were the good old days when we had a middle class and union jobs The Working Man has been played by corporations in the Republicans don’t take my word use your Google machine

    1. I agree, but the Democratic party, at least since the time of Bill Clinton, have adopted a neoliberal ideology that has served and been financed by big business, Wall Street and the billionaire class and all but deserted the working class. Both parties represent the same financial interests, the only difference being that one party is culturally right and the other left.

  6. It’s time for the government to work for the hard working, tax paying citizens! PERIOD 🤬

  7. Even if you reopen people don’t have money to spend on lavish things the government and corporations have screwed over the Americans to long and now they are seeing the consequences

    1. I’m in the high end wine business, so far just today we sold roughly 390 bottles of high end wines! Wealth gap is at all time high!

    2. No, they are getting the bailouts they wanted, WE are seeing the consequences of losing the country our forefathers fought to give us

    3. Correction: have screwed over the Americans TOO long. (to = a preposition. Example: I went TO the mall. In contrast with, “He bought too many things.” Do you see the distinction?

  8. I get teary eyed every time i hear this man talk.. truly a hero, who changed my life. I wish you could live forever Bernie. Love you my dude

    1. For some reason the DNC keeps poo pooing him. He should Tell them to F off and make his own party

    2. Yet, the majority of Americans just refuse to accept him even as a presidential candidate! Why? It seems irrational but I think it is the KARMA of US to have what it has and will have come November!!

  9. “It exists actually in many countries of the world already”! It exists in EVERY civilised nation of the world! It isn’t ‘communism’ it is social democracy! MY country has had this (with a few hiccups on the way!) since 1938! Since 1938 we have had Universal Healthcare; Universal age and disability pensions; Universal unemployment benefits. SINCE 1938!!!!!
I have visited US, I have US friends. I do not pay in TOTAL TAX what US citizens pay for shocking ‘healthcare’ coverage with ”deductibles’ and ‘pre-existing conditions’ and loopholes to benefit insurance companies you can drive an ambulance through. I have paid taxes all my life but I PAY NOTHING UPFRONT for: a daily pill for heart arrhythmia; 6 weeks in hospital and weeks of physiotherapy for a spinal injury; an operation, chemotherapy for cancer. Nothing! Nothing upfront whatsoever and excellent care.

    1. Hey Jan, this sounds like the NHS UK, I grew up with this and agree with everything you just said, I am now in Rep of Ireland and same here

    2. gday Jan!
We have Universal Healthcare in Australia, arguably one of the most stable and wealthy DEMOCRACYS in history!

Every cent of tax that i have ever paid in my life i have received back in government services such as Health Services and Roads and FREE University tuition, free Public Broadcasting etc etc etc.

As i am unemployed now I am receiving $500 pw benefit from my government to ride out the pandemic! For the next six months! And the government here right now is deeply conservative!!!

We are NOT Communists and I think people that propagate this false equivalence are being childish and petulant! It is all over the internet and it makes me angry that so many Americans are so grossly ignorant .

    3. Screw you hippies and your sanity, responsible governance, and unbroken social contracts.
This is America! We believe in Freedom, Democracy, America, Debt Peonage, and Freedom!

  10. They better start writing checks or there’s going to be RIOTING!!! Republicans better get on board. They’re already going to lose biblically in November.

    1. Yep ! People are not going to put up with this forever. Things will start getting ugly out there on the streets.
