If you don’t agree, then perhaps you should explain the ways these are connected (“RussiaGate” and Sullivan) and how keeping Sullivan is any kind of statement on Trump’s guilt, or lack thereof? And, hey, did you know it takes months for a new Ambassador to settle in (staffing, connections, etc)? And, hey, did you know there’s a benefit to Biden’s approach to Russia that this particular Ambassadorship’s transition go smoothly? And, hey, did you know that Biden is less partisan and less ego-driven than Trump, and so has no problem with keeping select personnel from a prior administration, even if that administration represents the opposing party?

Willie Geist asks a two part question at @7:30, key was the 1st part: ‘With all the heightened awareness of Russian interference in U.S. after 2016, how did we allow “Solar Winds” cyberattack to succeed?” Then on the the 2nd part about likely Russian response to sanctions. Krebs ONLY addressed the 2nd part. Absolute silence on how the “Solar Winds” hack wasn’t averted. Story there? BTW: Geist is one of the best interviewers out there.
