Sen. Ted Cruz Kills Any Hopes of Bipartisanship On Voting Rights Legislation

  1. Daily reminder;

    Not *ONE* republican office holder who objected to Joe Biden’s election win objected to their own election wins.

    On the *same* day.

    Using the *same* ballots

    And the *same* election system.

    1. @Paul Wilson to be sure. Seven house members objected and no senators accepted it so Biden shelved it as if nothing had happened. But yes, go ahead and try to make equivalence where there is none, as that seems to be the refuge of the less educated these days,

    2. @Ghalston 56 2017 – democrats objected…. 2021 Republicans objected…. apples to apples. If you say they are not then you are the less educated 🙂

    3. @Paul Wilson”_Daily Reminder;
      In 2017 democrats tried to over turn the free and fair election of Trump by objecting to the count just as Republicans objected to the 2020 election. Not ONE democrat who objected to Trump’s win objected to their own election wins.”_

      In 2017 there was a peaceful transfer of power, something ReTrumplican cultists and your golden idol himself failed to do that in 2021. On Jan 06th, your golden idol and his cesspool of obsequious ReTrumplican minions, took it a step further and tried to USURP the government and stop a constitutionally mandated governmental process so that they could reinstall *The Lyin King* as their cult leader. Big difference, slick. Stop with the ‘whataboutisms’ because you aren’t very good at it.

  2. I’m the short term yes partisan bills especially big ones meet a lot of resistance, but history making bills are rarely bipartisan they are usually pushed by one party.

    1. Honestly i believed that the two party system use to work. Because you cant satisfied everyone but their is a point that everyone can be satisfied. And a two party system kept us in the middle. But now republicans just want everything to go their way only.

  3. If you keep dropping criminals like Ted Cruz into the Senate instead of into prison your country is not going to do well.

    1. @Its OK to be White — It only took you 11 words to portray yourself as a complete imbecile … great job!

  4. If democrats do not get rid of the filibuster to support voting rights it won’t matter what happens when the other party is in control, Democrats will always be in the minority. No democratic agenda will ever see the light of day if democrats aren’t voted into office and worst of all, the voices of the majority will remain silenced

    1. SLOPPY JOE BIDEN has 🇺🇸 hating the Democrat party overnight!  Im totally cool with it but whats going on lib i want know???

  5. They have to cheat to win. It’s been that way for years. Just seeing it now ? Crus should talk he should be In jail already

  6. I don’t understand how people can look at Cruz while he speaks and not see that he’s a bald-faced liar. If I had to read that out loud I wouldn’t be able to keep a straight face.

  7. Amazing, Cruz stands there and describes exactly what his GoP “colleagues” are doing across the country.

    1. The Republicans never tried to switch from Capitalism to Socialism. Why would Schumer want to increase the size of government? Why would Democrats want to create more government dependency? And why do they think they can get rid of covid while leaving the border open?

    1. It goes deeper than Putin…the DARK MONEY is CHARLES KOCH. HE NEEDS TO BE EXILED AN STRIPPED OF HIS CITIZENSHIP . HE AND HIS DECEASED BROTHER HAVE BEEN SCREWING THE AMERICAN PUBLIC FOR YEARS. CHARLES GOAL IS TO BE KING ON HIS TERMS…HIS HE’S BEEN WORKING ON HIS MOVEMENT PLAN FOR YEARS. LOOK AT OUR SUPREME COURT AND THE REST. HE’S RESPONSIBLE FOR THE “PACKED” JUDGES ETC. Time to investigate him and his company. Investigated journalist…here is your assignment! Get and bring down CHARLES KOCH!!!###

  8. Why didn’t Democrats insist on passing Voting rights legislation, before passing the bi-partisan infrastructure bill. They didn’t prioritize very well.

    1. @The Homeless Travel Network Airways because WE the people want at least something done and the damned republicans want to obstruct everything and if they could at least get that done well at least it’s something.

    2. To pass the bill they had to get past the filibuster which requires 60 votes. If all 50 democrats voted for the bill it would take 10 republicans to overcome the filibuster. Not one republican will vote for the bill so there is no way to get it passed. Instead of blaming the democrats blame the republicans who have no desire to see anything that might help democrats or have them lose power because it might help America live up to the ideals in the Constitution.

    1. He doesn’t have the courage to defend Texas, his wife, his father, or anything else – he’s a cowardly waste of space.

  9. “Cruz is an army of one, alienating anybody who is in his path. He advocates losing strategies purely to further his own career at the expense of the party.”
    -Former GOP staffer

    1. “Suzy constantly makes things up and tries to sound smart for people online. I think she might even be a bot. In fact it would be best for everyone if she was.” – former social acquaintance of Suzy Q

  10. “Ted Cruz is a nightmare of a human being. I have plenty of problems with his politics, but truthfully his personality is so awful that 99 percent of why I hate him is just his personality. If he agreed with me on every issue, I would hate him only one percent less.”
    -Ted’s college roommate

    *I couldn’t possibly agree more! Ted Cruz is a total sleazeball and a bit of a creep.

    1. Al Franken “I liked Cruz better than any of my senate colleagues on either side of the aisle did. And I despised him”

  11. Everytime Republicans Talk About What Democrats Are Trying To Do 🤔 Is Exactly What Republicans Are Doing ! Power Grab !

  12. Does Cancún Cruz remember how Supreme Judge Amy Coney Barret was Voted, two weeks from Presidential Election was completed?
