  1. Vote as if your freedom & life depend on it because it does & its obvious tRump just doesn’t care about you or America. He seems to think “it is what it is” la de dah duh!

    1. @ben moyers..
Oopsie.. Ha ha ha… What about your master, Chaos, doesn’t he have plans for you to destroy every innocent child on the planet?

  2. VOTE, complete the census and then help others do the same. Dr. Bandy X. Lee, Yale School of Medicine wrote May 13th in the DC Report, “Genocide: Trump’s Final Solution To Immigrants And Minorities “Let’s Call His Purposeful Bungling of the Pandemic Response What It Is—Genocide. According to the United Nation’s Genocide Convention, the perpetration of genocide requires an “intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group.” Since the White House itself has acknowledged the disproportionate deadly effects of the virus on minority communities, the intent can no longer be denied.” I would include the elderly & other vulnerable populations. Trump doesn’t need gas chambers when he’s got COVID. And please keep questioning Mr. Woodward’s myopic & unethical six month delay on releasing vital information. Woodward &Trump knew “what & when”. It has been very well documented. Those tapes… without question they would have made a difference about a couple hundred thousand lifetimes ago… Thank you

    1. Don’t follow you here. Woodward is neither the president, nor the head of the CDC. Why would you place a burden on a journalist equal to that of the president? Or an official at CDC or HHS? The blame lies squarely at Trump’s feet. That is history now. But to blame Woodward for Trump’s colossal failure I do not understand.

    2. @Peter Hello. Good questions. There is more than enough blame to go around the world many times over. A critique of one person is reflective of only that individual’s behavior. Woodard violated basic journalist ethics and, unlike a few others, should have known better. He has yet to give a rationally valid justification for the devastation he contributed to – He could have saved thousands or more back in March, and in April, and in May when he said he knew what Trump “knew & when.” Beyond May? It is too horrible… And for what – Money? Probably not. Because he was writing what he believed is the first draft of history? Perhaps his ego? Perhaps he lost sight of his true obligation… I’d like to know, wouldn’t you? Almost any other reporter, when faced with the distinct possibility that publication would help while delay would cause more untold harm, would face severe consequences for this kind of negligence. His celebrity status makes what he did so much worse… Thanks Peter. It is hard to comprehend this and so terribly much more. We are fighting for our lives and a future too.

    3. @Nine Fools Wise Hmm. Perhaps he violated his oath as a journalist, I do not know. But I would also point out that many WERE saying this. The rational among us knew It was fact, even if the Trump Cult decided that it made their god look bad… Perhaps even Woodward, altho perhaps not so loudly, was speaking out at the time, I do not know.

We are indeed fighting for not only our lives, but for the lives of our children, and the generations to follow… We stare into the abyss. This notion of genocide you bring up is so chilling and yet so plausible… Biden with whatever disadvantages must win, or we are off down a slope into a dystopian Handmaid’s Tale in the next few years… I really fear this. But I am also very hopeful that the anti-trump movement is robust right now, and aware of the need to be very aggressive and active about voting. We must register today, vote asap, preferably in person.

    4. @Peter Thank you so much for your kindness and thoughtfulness. I don’t know why it seems so rare here… The only things I would add are that one, Trump saying those thing – to hear his private admissions vs. public one is one key difference. It might have changed many people’s minds about covid, mask wearing, etc. especially early on. Second, if you can avoid it, don’t vote in person. Follow your state procedures to vote by mail and return your ballot as early as possible. Everyone from Obama, Biden on down highly recommend it. Vote111.org is a great resource or vote.org… Many people in your local community would probably love your help too. Peter – best of luck. We all could use some. Stay safe 🙂

  3. At the close of the Constitutional Convention of 1787, Benjamin Franklin was asked a question as he left Independence Hall on the final day of deliberation. In the notes of Dr. James McHenry, one of Maryland’s delegates to the Convention, a lady asked Dr. Franklin: “Well Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?”

Benjamin Franklin replied: “A republic….if you can keep it.”

Trump is now telling us that we can no longer keep it.

This election will determine whether or not we keep our 244 year old democratic republic. America is in a fight for it’s very survival, and Trump has made it abundantly clear that America isn’t big enough for him and our democratic republic, so therefore one of them MUST GO.

On Nov 3rd, make a decision. Who’s side are you on?

    Biden/Harris 2020💙

    1. @Bill … you’ll get over it eventually. Took Nazi Germany only 15+ years getting back to free elections after 1933. Oh and another 40 years to reunite the country. Building walls has consequences..🤔..🤧..😷

  4. Trump himself said the virus is DEADLY – LIKE A PLAGUE!! Trump all but made the case for mail-in ballots for EVERY STATE across America!!

    1. You are mistaken Trump is the virus. Wearing a mask won’t stop him from spreading. Fortunately there is a vaccine it’s called voting.
