@edit name but if you give the money straight to businesses, yeah they’ll pay they employees that they didnt cut, but to those that were cut dont get anything besides what they are getting directly, in that case what’s stopping the company from just pocketing the extra money. In that case the company isnt suffering because they wont have money to spend on/pay. Then there’s money just sitting there that doesn’t help the economy. It’s just laying there to rot
