This absolutely needs to happen. Rent and mortgages need to be suspended, as well, so the nation can start to heal.

@Jason Roku You shouldn’t be expected to carry the societal burden of the pandemic response. Why do people think that the government collects our rent and mortgage payments somehow?. The mortgage relief we get from government is the money we gave the banking industry, McConAll needs to do the same relief to people like you so your tenants won’t suffer and you won’t lose your investments which would also hurt your tenants. And without individual relief your investments are threatened as well, you can’t squeeze rent from the broke and jobless from this stressed economy. Six years of a GOP CONgress has done nothing but harm to our citizens, but hey look at the stock market.
Without direct payments there should be no stimulus!
