Darwin Tremor, Whitmer is my Governor. I appreciate her doing what it takes to keep my fellow Michiganders safe and healthy including the Republican voters, Democrat voters and Independent voters. Her approval rating is higher than that abomination, Trump’s ratings in Michigan.

Now, go elsewhere, you worthless troll!

    • @Robert The Bruce Cool opinion piece. From over a year ago! Notice how the article doesn’t refute the fact the Mueller Report was accurate. The Senate choosing party over country is oddly missing. 🤔😄

    • @Tom Senft Voter suppression, higher rates of fatality for minority groups, a huge corporate bailout. Republicans are having the best spring ever. 👎

    • He took the bet “it will go away, like a miracle” that cost us 70 000+ lives and tanked our economy. Now he’s taking the bet it won’t flare up again so he can still try and run on “his” economy, doesn’t matter if 150 000 working class people die for it, all he wants is more occasions to fill his pockets, those of his family and his cronies, the American people come last.

  2. This is ALL about the Extra Chromosome-in-Chief getting back to his “rallies”.
He still thinks he has a chance if he can just get back out there and …blah, blah, blah…….

  3. History reveals truth Republicans always screw up the US and Democrats do clean up! Rid GOP once and for all 11/2020 RIP – GOP

@Mark bodman The electoral college is NOT democratic; the winner-take-all approach that it has essentially delegitimizes votes in every state. Also, senators are elected by direct popular vote despite the fact that there’re two senators per state, so you could make the argument that each individual district/county doesn’t receive fair representation if you go by that same logic. It’s also a fallacy to consider the rural America is the “bread and butter” when you consider that the blue states put more money into the economy than the red states.

    • Haivland Tuf | May 6, 2020 at 4:08 PM | Reply

@skyhawk00787 it is what it is. The founders set up the electoral college system for very good reasons. It does absolutely no good to whine about it. If you want it changed change the constitution!

@Obsidian Sage there is no immunity from this flu to date. Heard immuntity in Sweden ( no lock down) was right defence. Eight states in the United States as well did not do lockdown orders and if you look at their numbers they were not hit with covid-19 any worse than anywhere else.

  9. what kind of strange thinking is to think that going to work or the beach is safe? Republican thinking.

Flu season is over it’s time to get this country back on its feet whether you like it or not. Stay in mommy’s basement if you like nobody’s forcing you to leave.

  10. A president who began his campaign with- “I alone can fix it” all the way to now, “…No, I don’t take responsibility at all” and “It’s not my fault.” And yet neighborhoods across America are being saved by people on the front lines that are taking the ultimate responsibility. Trump’s failing, “bigly.” …“Frankly he’s a disgrace.”…“It’s too much winning- we can’t take any more.”…

    • Kenn Mossman | May 6, 2020 at 10:14 PM | Reply

“I alone can fix it” I remember that and thinking at the time what an a%%hole. It is sadly obvious he ought to have said, “I alone will make it worse than you can conceive”

I’m surprised the senator didn’t start spouting anti-China talking points from the trumpian playbook.

    • @Howard Bueker You can blame China for unleashing the virus…But, it’s impact on the United States is 100% trump.

      The difference?
We can blame China for the impact on our economy.

We can blame trump for over 70,000 american deaths.

    • Howard Bueker | May 7, 2020 at 10:01 PM | Reply

I like your logic Laker fan. You can blame China for unleashing the virus on the US and the world but you assign 0% blame for them doing so. Only a Trump hating liberal could come up with that kind of convoluted logic.

    • @Howard Bueker And, only a red hat rent boy thinks trump is completely absolved of any blame for his incompetence and his lies.

Also, where in my reply did absolve China of blame?

Only, a republican half wit could misread such a simple set of statements and spit out a rebuttal that demonstrates both poor reading comprehension and blind obedience to a fool.

    • Howard Bueker | May 8, 2020 at 7:52 AM | Reply

Where did I say Trump is completely absolved of any blame. All I did was ask a question. Looks like your reading and comprehension skills are brought into question with that statement. You absolved China of any blame by putting 100% of the blame on Trump. At the end of the day you’re going to vote for a guy with Dementia and I’m going to vote for the orange man with my red hat on. I bet I’m the one smiling come November.

    • @Howard Bueker Only those that completely absolve trump are still defending him. Ergo, you.

I didn’t absolve China for the effects of the virus. I absolve them of over 70,000 deaths due to the incompetent response of the trump administration. The release is on China. So tell me, how much blame did the world assign to us for the Spanish Flu pandemic? Answer: none. Why? Because, only trump and you red hats are constantly screwing things up and then looking for scapegoats.

Besides, I expect trump to win. The average american is selfish, cruel and really, really dumb. Ergo, you. I don’t vote in the U.S. and I don’t vote for people. I vote, for ideas and policies.

But, by all means go celebrate your trolling victory by giving your manky ring a nice fingering. I’ll enjoy watching the collapse of the U.S. from my perch abroad.

I fully expect the States to devolve into another civil war. And, when it comes I doubt you red hat rent boys will get much international support. Because, trump is an absolute laughing stock and generally despised outside of your little right wing bubble.

  19. quit bringing on Trump sycophants who do nothing but defend this failure of a president and who gave him a blank check to do whatever he wanted.

  20. All I kept thinking is that this senator is responsible for the deaths in his state just as the governor is. Because he’s lying.

    • Yep, and then they’ll be forced to shut down again when the deaths spike from this. My elected representatives are idiots 🤦‍♀️
