A handful of U.S. senators, who faced mounting criticism for selling off personal stocks before a coronavirus-driven market crash, could draw legal scrutiny beyond an Ethics Committee review requested by a Republican lawmaker swept up in the controversy, analysts said Friday.

While the four lawmakers have denied any misconduct, former federal prosecutors and legal analysts said the Securities and Exchange Commission, along with federal prosecutors could end up examining the transactions – some of them involving millions of dollars.

    1. I can assure you it would be highly unlikely Feinstein would be found guilty and probably most if not all would not. Also, She and her husband are filthy rich so this would be petty cash for here, why would she risk it? Now Trump on the other hand could be making billion$ off of this but he’s got it set up so we’ll never know But you’re OK with that right?

    1. Martha Stewart went to prison for doing what these Senators might of done! I don’t care which side they are on, if they traded on insider information they need to do time! Someone in the comments said something about Martha Stewart being a thug! She did wrong, but she definitely isn’t a thug! If someone gave me information that my millions would turn into nothing I’d have to at least think about using the information! I think most people would at the very least be tempted!

  1. I am a yellow dog dem., if Feinstein is guilty, then goodbye! Republican or Democrat! It matters not, to me.

    1. @JayKB you started out correct then instantly went to assumptions and tribalism. We have to stop or the divide keeps growing

    2. There’s an off a lot of anonymous people claiming to be yellow dog Democrats these days. I don’t believe any anonymous posters claiming to be a yellow dog Democrats. liar

  2. Trump ONLY spoke the name of the one Dem involved… then he gets all riled up when the reporter does the exact same thing, and names ONLY GOP Senators Lol
    Hypocrite much?

    1. @Riga Fraction   WRONG! Watch the clip again, Trump mentioned one name, “Dianne Feinstein”, then the reporter asked about the others. Why did Trump ask the reporter “why didn’t you ask about Dianne Feinstein” , maybe because he just mentioned her 5 seconds ago? You are either stupid, a liar or both.

    2. JoyFold 😂😂😂 exactly .. he mentioned one who happens to be democrat but going crazy when reporter mentioned names of the republicans..

  3. its all good – the people will just shake there heads and the commission will say they did nothing wrong – see u at the next crash

  4. Talk about greed, and they knew that this pandemic was going to happen, that’s my theory on these conniving leader’s, to bad that their is no trust for these people, who think their doing something good for the people they serve?.. actions speak louder than words.

  5. SHE SHOULD SAID, BECAUSE YOU ALREADY MENTION HER BUT YOU NEVER MENTION THE OTHER TWO. SO IT’S MY JOB TO MENTION THE OTHER TWO TOO.

  6. Insider trading, forget that. This proves that the (Rockefeller) “Pandemic” looks pre-planned. Just like the 911 put-calls on Airlines.
