You've likely started to hear the term "nonbinary" more frequently. Demi Lovato recently announced they were nonbinary and changed their pronouns to they/them.
"Nonbinary" refers to someone who does not identify only as a man or a woman, i.e. the traditional gender binary, according to the Human Rights Campaign. They could identify as both a man and a woman, in between the two genders or not a part of any gender category at all. GLAAD offers a similar definition.

I am not disrespecting anyone by stating that I do not agree with their views and the fact that only until recently people are identifying this way. Also I learned in biology and science class that there are only two sexes by birth. The child doesn’t know it is anything other than what it has no control over being. Learning to be something you aren’t, is just that. Learned… Or needed to be in that way.
We have evolved so much that we now believe there is more than 1 gender…. Such an advanced species but some are more stupid than a rock.
How uninformative, so sex is what body bits you have and gender is how you feel. So is girl/boy woman/man male/female based on sex or gender.
