  1. So glad he’s ok! Thank goodness for deep snow and good neighbors first responders and all who helped him. He’s a lovely man.

  2. Cool guy and a speedy recovery !!
Why do bad things happen too the good guys ?
Take Dim junior ,he ” plows snow ” every day and yet has not spent one day in hospital ?
Life can seem so unfair !!

  3. He had to have stepped on the treads to try to get to the cab and…they started to move and took him to the front where he was run over

  4. So he’s got going to lose any limbs, like I’ve been hearing about in other stories? That’s great! Really glad to hear that! Godspeed!!

  5. We never really know whether a celeb is a good person or not. However, what I’ve seen and heard of Renner, he sounds like a stand up dude… I know that he is big on family, being a good husband and a loving father….Also, I like some of the projects he picks up….and I’m not talking about marvel…He played the reporter in a movie of which, the reporter was allegedly killed for his exposition of the LAPD planting crack in impoverished neighborhoods during the 8os..

  6. Trolls were making disgusting comments about this man, just glad he’s going to be OK, Sounds like a great guy.

    1. @Paul Gnandt Nothing. I am up here in Truckie and saw the helicopter 🚁 took off. It was big news here. The fixing cars for others is just part of him being a really great guy.

  7. OH man……. what a disaster to survive. “Blunt chest trauma” is excruciating to imagine, among the other severe traumas. Very talented artist and a really good man, hope his being in great shape will bring him back ASAP.
In a foot or so of snow here in Maryland c. 1980, “intimately familiar” with the (DRY conditions) curves, road grade, speed of travel, etc. on the state highway, at the very moment I’d crested the hill I encountered maybe 300 ft ahead a huge snowplow stopped, facing south on the northbound side. This is in a 1970 Chrysler Newport……. a ship with four wheels. I skidded on snow hundreds of feet to about 3 ft from the snowplow blade. The difference mere seconds can make. People seem to be embarrassed to drive with some respect for sudden events on snow and ice.

    1. I turned 16 and got my license in early december 1985. A week later we had our first snow day due to about 4 to 6 inches of snow. I lived near Wolftrap farm park at the time so I drove over to the huge flat top parking lot that morning and spent about three hours with some friends doing donuts, controlled skids, fishtailing and basically drifting all over the parking lot. This is a national park so there was little chance we would get hassled by the local cops, who probably appreciated that we were not doing that on public roads anyway. It was mostly for fun but we were also getting used to the feel of a car on ice, snow and learning how to instinctively react to a loss of traction and a sudden loss of tracking in winter driving.

I’ve never had an accident or mishap in the snow and only in one rare five footer was I temporarily unable to drive safely if I needed to during winter weather conditions. In the case of the five footer we had some warning so I drove my car out of my neighborhood before the storm hit and parked it in a grocery store parking lot in town about ten minutes walk from my house. That way I was able to get out onto main roads the next morning, a day before the plows made it to the secondary streets in my neighborhood. I’ve even gone on road trips to go skiing in the middle of a snowstorm, and drove into mountains and the heart of the squall.

  8. Something very similar happened to my friends dad in the 90s. Only he was run over by a CAT excavator (same tracks like a tank). Drs said he would die if they didn’t remove his leg and he was bleeding out. But, 30+ years later, and at least two years of surgeries and rehab, he still has his legs and walks with a slight limp. A world famous dr in Seattle helped to rebuild the leg and all of the bones in his foot/ankle so he didn’t have to have an amputation. Similar to Mr. Renner, my friends dad was bleeding out on the scene and his organs went into failure but he’s still alive and well today

  9. If you haven’t heard already. Jeremy Renner is an amazing person. You will not find a better person in Hollywood or your everyday life. Dude is genuine as they come.

  10. He’s such a great guy…a real community member. My gosh! I wonder if he slipped off the step when climbing into the cab and got under the treads. Imagine getting run over by that

  11. I am so happy to hear that he is doing well, I have always admire Mr. Renner for his low key and playing down his celebrity status and know we get to really find out such a kind heart without looking for praises nor to upgrade his status by the means of his charitable actions. Hawkeye, godspeed and I wish you a rapid and full recovery in the meantime, you are well loved and regarded as well

    1. @mohamedtrevino8709  Are you butt hurt because the Republicans can’t get their heads out of their @ss and find one loser that they can agree on to be the head “LOSER”!!!
