Six states that could swing the 2020 presidential election

President Trump won all six of these states in 2016, he'll need them again if he hopes to win a second term in the White House. CNN's John King gives his take on the road to 270.

    1. @jp you’re a chump lol don’t know how to debate just a waste of time really. Explain this, quote this, blah blah, blah
In the end Trump is gonna win by a landslide so start preparing to cry your eyes out cuz I know it’s gonna burn lol

    2. @west texas That’s right facts and reality don’t matter to Trump and his cult. Thanks for reminding me that Trump voters thing picking the president is analogous to rooting for your home football team. I’m sorry, did I use a word (analogous) that you don’t understand? That’s bound to happen when you don’t graduate from high school like a majority of Trump voters.

    3. Just looked up Biden’s China policy. Seems like he’s one of those responsible for putting all the companies and jobs in China. It’s really sad that the US only has 2 choices for your President. It’s even sadder that whoever your President will be, it will affect other countries. Seems like more jobs and more power will be resume to be given to China.

  1. Swing states are a TOSS UP. This election could go EITHER way. If you haven’t voted yet, we NEED you! Please VOTE!

    1. @morning coffee – Those of you that have been watching CNN election report, I have a question. How many times have they said ” well lets just keep watching and see what happens as votes come in. There are a very large number of mail in ballots not yet in. We know most of these have been in favor of Democrats”.

    2. It was a BIG MISTAKE voting the way people did this time.
People in ARIZONA should vote again but not through the mail.
THEY SHOULD GO TO THE POLLS.

    3. @tater thotz – Yes it is good Biden exposed the democrats systemic racism with “If you don’t vote for me you ain’t black”. The leftists for years have been trying to convince everyone if you don’t vote for us “you ain’t kind, ain’t charitable, ain’t good woman, ain’t humanitarian, ain’t for progress, ain’t for working people, on and on; you just ain’t any good.

    1. @sreal Bruh! You don’t need all the voted counted for an unofficial victory. We do this every election. Bruh. When you’ve watch 9 presidential elections closely and you have a substantial education in politics, you know this was rigged from early on, and definitely last night confirmed it. Cheating. Massive cheating. The election reporting was/is unprecedented on every level. It is completely within precedence to call states when a certain % of votes having been counted. We have done this accurately for decades. The reason you can do this accurately is because at some point you know the total votes and you know what you have counted. In definitive cases you know the opposition e.g. cannot win even if they received all the remaining uncounted votes. Last night, not only were they withholding/stalling on small eastern state with +80% counts, but they were handing out victories to Biden in larger states that only had 10% count. In other states, e.g. VA and IL, they didn’t even bother counting before calling them. The states stopped counting, particularly WI, MI, PA, NC, GA, even though Trump had substantial leads and high percentages counted. All these other state with far less counted are being called, these eastern states stopped. Trump easily had over 300 electoral votes secure and a million point lead in the popular vote. Then they stopped counting. This has never happened before. All this early voter, mail in voters, postmarks, etc. its all BS ripe for massive fraud. It goes on and on. This is just the election night BS tip of the iceberg.

    1. 99 Counties, …. Do You Know WHY ??? I Do ! And I am from California, Living in Arizona ! lol

From one County Seat, To the next neighboring County Seat, in any direction …… Not more than ONE Days ride on Horseback Between them!

Fun Facts to know and tell.

They ain’t no Dummies in Iowa, they have good common sense.

    1. @Not Important No, not really. Trump is just blatantly racist and so was his father. It’s okay to admit it, it’s okay.

    2. @Bongo Fury Bruh planes weren’t invented until 1903, airports weren’t commonly opening until the 40s and 50s.

    1. Polls = CNN’s way to manipulate the truth, obviously their “polls” were just commercials for Biden and to get more views.

    2. @Daphne Lynne Yep, he pegged it. The polls were way off, Biden would win Florida and may win Texas; Trump pounded Biden in both states.

    3. @Víolétta Chálamet It’s whoever reaches 270 period. There is no “first”. Once you reach 270, there’s only 268 left to grab for the opponent(s); it’s not as though you have to be faster than the other.

BTW, lookup “contingent election” if you want to read some real mindbending stuff. If no candidate reaches 270 (two candidates at 269 each, or 3 or more candidates splitting the college too much), then the entire shebang goes to the House of Representatives to vote in the next President. It’s even weirder than that though: They don’t get one vote per Representative, they get one vote per delegation. Depending upon how you look at it (the rules changed over time) it’s happened roughly 4 times in history I believe, including appointing a President over an opponent who had won BOTH the populous AND electoral vote majority.

But “majority” isn’t enough. It *has* to be 270. BTW, in that weird contingent scenario, the Senate is not involved.

  2. Thousands of miles away in Singapore and I’m just riveted. So nervous for the results. The world is watching with hope.

    1. Well if Biden wins, China wins and you can kiss all of Asia Pacific goodbye. China is very afraid and the Chinese Yuan (dollar) fell hard yesterday when it looked like Our President would win outright.

    2. @Tony Emerson I think Trump was up against just too much; 97% of all News Outlets; TV, Newspapers, Radio, 95% of all Social Media platforms, The RINO Right Establishment Republican Party, most Corporations that poured Billion of dollars into Bidens campaign. Most Normal Americans just aren’t equipped to make sense of that level propaganda.

    3. @Skydiver correct, millions of dollars went to the Democrat candidates, it was a sick and sad display of how they wanted to buy our vote. Democrats outspent Republicans by 4 to one in some cases.

    4. @Skydiver trump is against his own actions!!! Words and deeds have consequences..it costed him an election win.

    1. @Games Bond187 Yeah, it doesn’t matter who wins the election, all we want is America to be safe for everyone

    1. @Officer Pillsbury yes i agree with you on having trump as president but you’re making republicans look childish, you only say their cheating because you’re not winning. when you’re winning, you praise the voting process and the electoral college.

  3. I’ve been more invested American politics rn than I have ever been in any European politics, this is making me anxious…
