    1. Where I live a major reason I live here is because there are( or were) a lot of independent businesses that I have made a big point of patronizing. It’s so vital to my community! And, yes, agreed small businesses represent one of the best things about America!

    2. @Karen Byrd me too. I wish there was a chance for these small businesses. This all is going to get way way worse i feel like πŸ™

  1. the big boys are all open and the little guys are closed out of the recovery package as well … it planned or not it is another transfer of wealth from the middle class and the entrepenureal base of the republican parti … the wealth since thrump and his republican hemogeny have done nothing but flow from the poor and middle class to the extremely wealthy … main street was being sacrificed since Reagan …

    1. @Kevin McNeil Unfortunately true. My small business is ok, but i’ve lost an entire quarter’s year worth of capital as well. There’s always some small print on even these loans we were offered last month. Thank God I live near man People who fear only God and are kind, not always so hateful and angry.

    2. @Vera von Weltin you moron, every single policy has to be approved through the house. which the democrats have the majority lol, you really that dumb? You think that the inpeachment hoax would’ve ever made it to the senate otherwise? HAHAHA You liberal are so gullible.

  2. This is a very visible issue. Big businesses seem to be the only ones important to the US government. That’s why they got millions of dollars of PPE while they had millions in the bank. The bill would have been more effective for our small neighborhood businesses…

    1. I had to go to Walmart the other day. Only 1 in 4 wore a masks , brought all their kids to run around the store and could care less what they touched!
The irony is, they will be the first to need sick care!

  3. Lowe`s and Depot put small construction out and small retail hardware , lumber . Imagine owner of small but have to buy material from another contractor

  4. I’m going out today to get flowers for the garden. I’m bypassing Walmart, lowes etc. I’ll be shopping at the local farmers market. These people deserve our business.

    1. Thank you I’m a small farm and I sell a farmers market in California always make sure my customers get the best quality at a fair price

    1. @F M you and I are both foreign Invaders from our great but remember we also bought a lot of the land and we’ve given native life term social security benefits for life no other American can receive. in the 21st century you have to draw the line between foreign Invaders and people that have settled here. We have an overpopulation in the United States. Every minute to illegal immigrants enter the country every hour 130 comes into the country, everyday 2700 to 3000 illegal immigrants come in the country illegally from all corners, which close to 1 million are and over 1.1million a year of illegal immigrant foreign Invaders. Perhaps you should look at some videos numbersusa.org

    2. @Elmosweed there is some money being put into it. The farmers around here for the first time are growing hemp or some of them are. So there must be a healthy market for it or they wouldn’t grow it as a cash crop.

    3. @Just Say’n okay yeah you’re right you’re a Democrat Democratsaccording to you illegal immigrants are coming over here to vote Democrat and Democrats aren’t using illegal immigrants to build their party according to you. and I’m sure you probably refuse to believe me if I said there was 30 to 50 million illegal immigrants living in this country what the facts I’m sure you’re going to debunked that too. Have a nice day don’t text me again again

  5. And who talked about the Wal-Mart effect 6 years ago? Oh yeah, Bernie Sanders. America it’s not too late to change our mind and choose the candidate who’s always been fighting for small business and against monopolies

    1. Sean Jenkins Elizabeth Warren has been a critic too! Not sure why people don’t like her. She has always been pro-consumer.

    2. And who warned you about Walmart and other foreign supported businesses nearly thirty years ago? Ross Perot.

  6. One might think, govt wants all small business bankrupt, same as they want small farmers bankrupt. Once Big business takes control of everything, the consumer will not be able to afford things like FOOD. If you control the market, you control the price.

  7. Upper Class moves up. Middle Class moves down. Lower Class dies. He didn’t create the virus, but Orange Julius Caeser is having so many dreams come true.

  8. Yeah, I’m a music store. I am NOT a health risk. I am nothing to Amazon before, I am certainly nothing to Amazon now. Just start taxing them like me. That’s all I and every other music store that exists in the real world asks.

  9. Wall Street: Is the buffet open?
    t’rump administration: For you, always!
Main Street: Please sir, may I get a piece of bread? I am so hungry.
    t’rump administration: Security!

    1. @M7 SOCIAL t’rump not taking the salary but is making 10x more with his golf trips to his resorts. Dude…you’re an easy mark for Don the Con. πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

    2. @Eric Klaus Less whining, more backing up your point. If you can, that is. πŸ€”πŸ˜„πŸ˜…

    3. @Ro G So the guy has businesses… whats your mental malfunction? The fact remains whether no matter your emotional breakdown. I dont care if the guy has shady deals, sleeps with whoever or cheats on his taxes (like everyone else). As long as he writes executive orders for THIS country (unlike Obama) then America is fine, with or without your consent. Im pretty sure you didnt serve this country, so realistically you dont have any right to complain. You can stay in la la land of “emotional attachments to public figures”.

    4. @M7 SOCIAL Speaking of mental malfunction, tell me again who suggested we should try injecting disinfectant into our lungs? πŸ€”
That’s the guy you trust with making decisions? πŸ˜„
And you know what, I feel sorry for you. It’s 2020 and you want to go back to the 50’s. I’m sorry you lack the emotional and mental maturity to comprehend and deal with a world that has advanced past your idea of what the world should be. Open up your mind. I know it’s hard. But if you try hard enough, I know you can do it! πŸ‘

  10. @ about 2:55, When it comes to the billions involved in big business, and the lobbyists involved, and the campaign contributions, nothing about it is unintended.

  11. Boutique stores will struggle even more though their smaller size makes them the better choice to shop at this time. Online shopping will become the norm the longer this crisis persists.

    1. Idiocracy was by accident, this is being done intentionally by a selfish President.
Much more evil in this situation, but the same result nonetheless.

  12. Mnuchin : Too early to tell if MSNBCannibals are going to continue releasing theirBioWeapons on THE USA. MSNBC under investigation for BioTerrorism

  13. This reminds me of the gas β€œshortage” in the 70s when all the small family run stations were squeezed out of business.
