Mic Little I regret that people can comment so easily on YouTube, as my original comment has attracted a lot of deplorable, wretched comments in this extended thread, including at least one obnoxious troll I know who is an awful human being.
There’s a lot of toxic trolling, blatant nonsense, lies, conspiracy theories and the like in many of the comments that are here, and it’s hard not to think of how and why your country/America is so, so, so broken and weak now, looking at the plethora of rotten comments that people dumped in after mine.
Ultimately, it doesn’t matter about the character or past of the victim at the heart of this story – sure, he wasn’t an angel, but he wasn’t a devil, either, and nobody – NOBODY – deserves to die in the street Iike that, gruesomely losing his life while bored, disinterested cops watched.
A man is dead, needlessly and horribly killed by the authorities who had a duty of care to him as a compliant, incapacitated individual in their care – and they killed him. And That led to absolute arseholes commenting that it’s all fake, it’s all part of a master agenda, blah blah blah.
I don’t know what has gone so horribly, horribly wrong over there in America to make so many of your people disgusting human beings who revel in ignorance and being callous, but…. I don’t even know how to finish that. America is broken, and I don’t think your country can do anything else but fall apart now.
@cj p Nor was officer Harrity much discussed when officer Noor shot Justine Damond to death. And unlike the current officers in question, Harrity was not fired. Also, it took many months before Noor was charged with third degree murder, and nobody rioted over Damond’s death.

The cop has been charged with third degree murder, which is a reach, and manslaughter, which can easily be won. He will go to jail. There is no need for all this rioting and looting. The rioting is all over, including my city of Portland, and down in LA. It will win nothing for anyone. And the calls to arrest the other officers, who were fired, is a call to rushed justice. Minneapolis waited 4 months to charge an officer who shot a barefoot, innocent woman for no reason. After 2 years he received 12 1/2 years in prison. But, you probably don’t care, since the cop was black and the victim white.

There was no reason to treat Mr. Floyd as he was treated, no matter what the accusation might have been and no matter if it was true or not. Mr. Floyd was not resisting. These cops had no right to pull him from his car, handcuff him, or put him on the ground, much less put a knee on his neck. If heart issues caused his death, the cops are still responsible for the physical and emotional stress placed on Mr. Floyd by their actions. He was murdered.
The man was cuffed, the 4 cops are all guilty murder, democrat mayor and DA were very slow, to arrest these cops. Very slow to prevent riot and damage to property,. They are so lucky no one is being killed in these riots people or cops!
I once sat on a jury where we all watched the same video of a supposed crime being committed and yet we came to very different conclusions. The man being charged with the crime was a homeless individual, so I’m guessing some prejudged the defendant before the trial even began. Thankfully me and the majority of the jurors stood our ground and the homeless man who we believed was acting in self defense, was cleared of all charges.
That’s a lie and there is nothing to go to court for… it’s MURDER plain and simple…

Intentional Killings Without Premeditation
These sorts of killings don’t involve any planning on the part of the killer. At the moment the murder occurs, the killer definitely intends to kill the victim, but up until that moment, the killer had no plan to commit murder.
For example, Adam and Bill are neighbors, and lately they’ve been having disagreements over the fence between their properties. Adam pays Bill a visit to discuss the matter, and while there impulsively grabs a shotgun hanging above the fireplace and shoots and kills Bill.
Adam didn’t have any plan to kill Bill when he went to Bill’s house that day, so there was no premeditation. At the time he pulled the trigger, however, Adam fully intended to kill Bill. Given these circumstances, prosecutors would probably charge him with second-degree murder.
If, on the other hand, Adam kills Bill during a sudden quarrel with provocation, the charge would likely be voluntary manslaughter. The idea is that if Adam is driven by the “heat of passion,” it lessens the moral blame.

I’m astonished at the support for looters and the blame on Trump (when ironically Democrat Amy Klobuchar previously declined to prosecute that cop) and the Democrat Police Chief did nothing about Chauvin either. Didn’t put him on permanent desk duties or fire him, despite Chauvin’s history)…but that cop didn’t have the right to treat anyone, as he saw fit too. People under arrest have rights too.
George allegedly passed a bad note ffs, not killed a kid. Besides it’s not up to anyone but a judge to decide a punishment .

Another video I watched showed 3 officers on top of him, not just one.
Before that occurs George is sitting against a wall on the other side of the street and appears in physical distress. A police officer writes something down that George tells him and hands the note to another officer. The video is on Tampa 10.

Actually that’s a great question and nobody of course ever wants to answer it. Fact is law enforcement have a lot of statues that protect them from wrong doing. They’re ambiguous in nature which allows lead way on not getting convictions. Your mayors, governors and state reps know very well about this. This is all very simple. would Mr. Floyd have died at that exact moment, from natural causes, if the police officers on his ankles , back and neck had not had him pinned down. the answer is No. There fore they are all guilty of participating in an act that caused his death.
