  1. I am a South Dakota native and love my home state. At the same time, I am ashamed of how callously the governor has treated this pandemic and sickened by the carnage that COVID19 has caused because of her approach.

    1. My mother, a native of South Dakota, was so proud of her state and the tough people of South Dakota. She died 15 years ago at the age of 86. She’d be so upset and angry at how the Governor of SD is spewing misinformation and shows no compassion for the citizens she is supposed to protect. Shame on Noem!

    2. Ah well. You are a rarity it does seem majority of SD think covid a myth. Look after yourself and others who think like you. OK here upside (nasty upside) property is gonna be more available if South Dakotan folk carry on the way they are going.

    1. I work in a major hospital, we don’t have a single person in the hospital for corona virus! What we do have is 100s of empty rooms! Wake up people, stop believing this propaganda!

    1. @Kelvin Blackstone That’s a lie, there’s a run off election for those 2 Senate seats in Georgia for the first week of January.. Vote Blue Georgia 🔵

    2. @afrofaerie oh? you mean educate myself on how it’s Georgia law to do a vote count/confirmation if the vote is won by less than 50%? There were three candidates. Republican got the most followed by the dem and the independent. They’re just recounting per law. The Republican already won. Nothing has changed honestly. Biden thankfully won the Presidential election though.

    1. kathy weiss
That would include Democrat governors who put coronavirus patients in nursing homes, which ends up “killing grandma.”

    2. @Christopher Biddle yes, at the beginning of the pandemic N.Y. made a truly horrible decision. We knew less about the virus back then….what’s worse is stupid twats like DeSantis or Noam have learned nothing from that mistake.

    3. @kathy weis
Yet, we have Democrat governors patting themselves on the backs for their response to this virus.

  2. Covid was supposed to “Magically Disappear” months ago another delusion or maybe they didn’t inject enough bleach 🤔🤔🤔

  3. Trump: I and my supporters will go to the sun.

Science: Nobody can go to the sun.

Trump: That’s the fakest news I’ve ever heard in my life. We do not believe in science.

    Science: It’s extremely hot there.

Trump: We will go there at night!!!

Supporters: That’s our president. The most intelligent president in history. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

  4. Since the majority of the people in that state are probably never going to vote democrat, I think it should be considered a mandatory public service of governors, mayors, all those that serve the public, to have to volunteer hours out of their week, each week, into the hospitals and dedicate their time to observing the state of the medical system, to witness the effects of disease, and to hold the hands of the dying when their loved ones are not allowed to.

    1. Because they confuse social care with communism it’s a relic from the 1950’s Americans fear the idea of caring for others outside their direct family. It’s a mystery.

  5. What is so hard about knowing that wearing a mask helps slow the spread and that it isn’t a “infringement of American liberty?”
Are people in South Dakota really that ignorant?

    1. @snowflake killer I assume you’re directing this question to t’rump who today said, “why do I need factual standing to bring a case to the Supreme Court, when I’m the president! The Supreme Court is a sham!”

    2. @snowflake killer Because people are still getting and dying of Covid. I’m a nurse and have lost patients to it. We are “whining” because people continue to be willfully ignorant. If you won’t listen to and help the nurses you won’t help anyone. We are “whining” because we need people to be responsible and prevent the spread of the virus and strain on the healthcare system.

  6. We’ve reached a threshold of ignorance that we can’t cross back over. At this point, it’s natural selection….many are literally too stupid to survive. Of all the tragedy that has befallen this nation, a virus is our undoing

  7. The lack of a covid relief package for THE PEOPLE, will create MILLIONS of HOMELESS/DEAD before we ever see a vaccine. Congratulate Congress.

  8. Kristi Noem on COVID – “ I like to let my people have freedom”
Kristi Noem on statewide vote to legalize recreational marijuana “ I’m concerned about families”
    🤷🏻‍♂️
