SpaceX rocket lifts off from U.S. in history-making flight

A rocket ship built by Elon Musk's SpaceX company thundered away from Earth with two Americans on Saturday, ushering in a new era in commercial space travel and putting the United States back in the business of launching astronauts into orbit from U.S. soil for the first time in nearly a decade.

  2. But wait years back NASA Stated that they were not going to send any thing else into space??? Make you wonder!

    1. This is a private company called SpaceX owned by Elon Lusk initiative all the way. Nasa is just using them to transport its astronauts. SpaceX will transport astronauts as well as private citizens into space once you buy your ticket

  3. It’s very sleek, I grew seeing the space shuttle attached to that giant orange fuel tank booster thing… and now it’s just one skinny space pencil. I think it’s nice to see science and technology advancements.

  4. Are they going to the ISS ? or just making a launch and recovery ? I would like to see them locking up with the SS.
