The special master overseeing the Mar-a-Lago documents investigation has ordered former President Donald Trump's lawyers to back up out-of-court assertions that the FBI may have planted evidence at the property during their search last month.
Judge Raymond Dearie, the court-appointed special master, said in a filing that Trump's team needs to submit a sworn declaration saying if they believe the Justice Department included any items on their "inventory" of materials taken from Mar-a-Lago that were not actually seized during the search.
The declaration must include "a list of any specific items set forth in the Detailed Property Inventory that Plaintiff asserts were not seized from the Premises on August 8, 2022," Dearie wrote in the order.

@Kirk Patrick and the doctor EXACTLY what is required by law. They presented an affidavit detailing probable cause and how they arrived at that conclusion, the listed exactly what they were looking for (materials belonging to the government and the associated container they were in (with other contents co located with said documents)) and exactly where they were going search. They got a warrant from the magistrate judge and they presented the warrant to the occupant if the facility at the time (the secret service).
If trump thought they had done something illegal he should have appealed the warrant instead of going to a special master and just handing the DOJ more evidence.

How many documents are still missing? If there is truly a chain of custody,a process,records that are kept relating to classified docs then they must know if any are missing already and then they must find out if they were shredded or sold or stolen or flushed or given to wikileaks or who knows what else OR do they not know because records are not kept because the keepers of the secrets are incompetent
Lawyers don’t not lie in court for ethical reasons but because there are real legal consequences for doing so.
