I’m sooo tired of all this. One more day and it won’t even be over after that.
I know!!!! I was looking forward to this all being over but it is not going to be. Not by a long shot. Hang in there and hopefully don’t go insane is all any rational person can aspire to at the moment. I am not a huge fan of Joe Biden. I believe he is just a career politician with nothing particularly exciting or new to bring to the table. In a rapidly changing globe, he appears to be just a safe and somewhat lazy choice by the democrats…..but the alternative is unthinkable. There is no doubt in my mind that President(!) Trump thrives on and is validated by being the centre of attention. That is an integral part of his disorder. That is not going to change and I don’t think enough people recognise just how dangerous that is.

The fact that their models were off as much as they were says something about statisticians and their inability to understand the public and to identify the variables necessary to shape forecasts. Almost all of them were off in the battleground states enough to mislead the public. To me it does not matter who wins the presidency as much as the grief, suspense and anguish the polls have caused. Our collective blood pressures don’t need this.
