UNBIASED FACTS TO KNOW ABOUT THE ELECTION:
– All states polls will be closed by or before 1 AM EST (Alaska being the one that closes at 1 AM Eastern)
– The vote count will not necessarily be concluded tonight as some states are accepting mail-in ballots that were post-marked November 3rd
– 11 states plan to have most of their votes NOT counted by the end of Election Day
– 16 states plan to have most of their votes counted by the end of Election Day
– The actual electoral college vote (the only vote that matters) does not occur until December 14th
– The official count by Congress and declaration of the winner by the U.S. Federal Government does not occur until January 6th during 2021
– Associated Press is the press agency that is most accredited in declaring the candidate who will become the President-Elect. Every major news agency has a desk in the Associated Press’ control center, waiting for the A-P to make their announcement
– The Associated Press has stated that it is almost certain that the winners of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania or Michigan will not be announced in the next day
– Red Mirage and Blue Shift may make it appear that one candidate is the winner or is the presumptive winner at first; but this is an illusion that often changes over time, meaning the presumptive winner tonight may not be the actual winner of the 2020 election
