My condolences to the family. Such an awful tragedy. Naturally they want answers, but it would be highly unusual for them not to have safety protocols in place. Whether they are enforced or the decedent complied with is another matter. Let’s see what we learn. So sad

it is tragic and unfortunate . possible was the failure of the now deceased. how many employees complain of a unsafe work place so far or how many times we hear of an employee fallen overboard at the warf? what is a fact here is the person died on the job he was on company’s time so as for financial compensation to the family the company cant escape that burden I believe..but it doesnt mean the death of the person is a direct failure in safety measures at the work place.we will all see where the investigation leads.
