    1. Medicine and glove shortage. Who is responsible for the budget? Has the Minister of health received the funds?
Something is wrong in the system. Why are the heads not talking, as they where during the big C pandemic?

    2. Irma’ chisolm u are so right all at the blood bank one gloves using on every one that goes to give blood

    1. ALL these calamity’s that are going on around the world will lead up to a Sunday Law Which will be The Mark Of The Beast, Those that keep Gods seventh day sabbath will be prohibited from buying and sell and persecuted. Jesus is coming are you ready?

  1. Oh boy what can I say sorry to all the mothers who lost there babies but sacking the health minister is not the answer who do we blame for the deaths of all the people who died fr Covid hmm

  2. So what about the real doctors, nurses, and others in charge at these hospitals? Shouldn’t they also bear some of this blame and also be fired?? He may be at some fault but the brunt of outcry should be leveled at the facilities!

    1. @Oshane I don’t know the persons who truly care about the people personally, but that’s the person to find for the job and that person may not be interested in politics.

    2. @Kavel Bryson this is my thoughts exactly. Before one should call for Tufton to resign the CEO and those in charge of the facility needs to be held accountable.

The way I see it. If the facility was not safe, the staff should turn back patients. See to it that it is corrected and update the policy going forward to prevent future bacteria infections.

This is repeated from Fenton’s time and clearly just resigning is not a solution.

      Finally, Tufton should be fired.

    3. Bacterial infection killed them, not the healthcare professionals. Not their responsibility to disclose the outbreak. If it was to such an extent that PAHO’s assistance was needed, this was beyond their management. Moreover, the resources are just absent in the health sector. Not sure why people pretend it’s any different. Even the best of doctors cannot combat an outbreak without resources.

    4. @Yagga Every hospital has staff that does cleaning. That is how they fixed the outbreak. And Yes, if there is an issue at the hospital, the customer service rep will tell you they can’t accommodate you and suggest another hospital. This is basic and normal.

  3. So let me get this straight babies are dead from a bacterial infection and the minister should go. Where are the persons in-charge of the facility? I get it that the minister is ultimately responsible but all I’m hearing is politics!!! Can we please put the politics aside of once and seek a real solution!! These solutions will address the root causes of such outbreaks!! If it’s found that the minister was asked for resources and he refused then I will join the call for the minister to go.

  4. By Next week we forget all of this and believe Tufton is the greatest Minister ever . The man knows how to use Social media to promote himself and we all buy into it . Kmt !

  5. This shouldn’t be just a political demonstration, it should be a national thing. He should go they should be demonstrating about all the hospitals across the country.

  6. No politics here until we learn to keep the performers in other words the MPs and Councillors performing serving the people they’re answerable to in the right representation wether he/she is from the P.N.P or J.L.P. Once they’re identified as a server and performer then there’s no need for an election in that constituency keep that people’s person for the people and those who are underperforming should be immediately voted out as soon as they are identified as such an election is called and those who feels it and knows it would have to do the right thing in voting against him then the parliament’s duty is to find the best suitable character to occupy that seat…so you don’t need to have an opponent for an underperforming Mp or Councillor..and without no further ado I strongly recommend the dismal of this incumbent minister of health…He’s incapable of handling such portfolio…there are others In the same party who is alot capable to steer this portfolio Andrew stop back SLACKNESS

  7. We all need to 🙏🙏🙏🙏 for each other more God will always come through for us if we only beleive

  8. Condolences to all parents whom lost a child at the hospital or any other one persons should b notified when there is an outbreak of anything i dont know who to blame parents b watchful and vigilent as must all of us in these last days pls jamaica find out what is happening people are already stressed and scared to let their children out of there sight for any reason merciful father pls intercede guide us with the right answers and show what needs to b done and for those whom are not soing their jobs not washing hands wearing gloves and have no love for children or adults in hospitals relieve them of there duties oaths were taken but depression no love and money making are taking over for some person shout out to all the good doctors and nurses out there that care and ministers step up and find out the root to the problem or things will get worse blessings to all

  9. What about the staff at the hospital, aren’t they not to be blamed also?poor hygiene and unsanitary conditions maybe the cause of those babies death, don’t blame the Minister he doesn’t work in the hospital with those babies the nurses do.The only problem with the Minister is that when he was told about the problem he didn’t go public.

  10. I empathize with the parents of these children. Let us however not use the lives of these infants to gain political milage but seek solution to this problem so that there is not a recurrence.

  11. Praying for all … prayers. Prayers. Prayers. RIP little Angels. My condolences to the families that lost their babies. 😭😢.

  12. Theese are real children that lose there Lives families are greiving some one must be held accountable am greiving I felt it to de core this is really sad🙏🙏👏👏💯💯

  13. I believe a proper investigation much be done by an independent body as to the cause of death, if the findings reveal anybody found culpable or negligent must therefore held responsible for such action, it does matter who it is, calling for the health minister to resign is premature, put politics aside and deal with the matter accordingly, the parents must be compensated for their lost.
