@TJ It was wrong for the Chinese government to have lied . However, once USA knew just like the other countries near China knew about the virus, they DID something about it to contain the spread. These other countries acted fast & cared about their citizens’ health. It’s is similar to if you know a fire is headed towards your home, you get prepared to extinguish it by having water ready & people working together to put out the fire.

Hundreds of studies are being published every week because of lax peer review and a desire for correlating data in the media. Most of them are trash studies based on bad data and assumptions. @Foniks Monkee Japan with an estimated population of 126 million people, has only tested 16,484 individuals. Japan also closed schools, has a culture that compliments social distancing as well as results in much less face to face communication.
So there is no real way to know how effective Japan’s response to the virus has been, and there are far more underlying correlations than simply widespread mask use. The people of Wuhan had been using masks for years during every flu season prior to the outbreak as well. And mask use in Italian hospitals had almost no effect on transmission rates.

Are you trying to claim that 1 person out of 126 million can see the entire perspective of those 126 million people just by virtue of living in the same country? A month shut down is 2 infection cycles. And they also close schools very quickly, which are the highest possible infection vectors.
You should really consider how close to the elephant you are standing as a single person out of 126 million Japanese. You cannot possibly see the entire beast.

well you see, what had happened is, during the last iceAge human populations were pushed to the brink of extinction. Populations got so low that inbreeding became the only means for most to procreate. And that inbreeding has created what is called the Fukpotato Paradox. Currently about 72% of all humans in any given sample qualifies as a pureBred Fukpotato. They exist to soak up resources, procreate, and die. The are the zombies, the sheeple, or the “NPCs”. The feeders that serve no positive purpose. The paradox is, that if we killed them all, their relative population would just increase over time. Resulting in the extinction of non-Fukpotato humans. So our only option is to interbreed and dilute the Fukpotato gene pool down to manageable levels.
However, we must survive this process. These Fukpotatos are doing far worse things on a daily basis than sending their children to a summer camp to share their diseases and bring home samples. We are in an arms race. We have to continuously counter act the effects of Fukpotato behavior without causing a mass extinction event, and pray to whatever alien god creature that spermed us into this planet that we don’t get struck with a space rock or a gamma ray burst, or a massive volcanic event just long enough to stabilize the Fukpotato population and spread off this doomed rock.

I assumed that because something was obvious to me that it was a given for them as well and they just chose to make stupid decisions anyway. I was wrong. Governor Kemp here in Georgia stopped local Mayors from implementing a Phase 1 plan that would had closed places like these and also actually took Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms to court to sue her for wanting to implement a mask mandate. His reason? Governor Kemp: “I don’t think we need a mandate to have Georgians to do the right thing.” This is as cases soar here in Georgia and Governor Kemp has reopened the Emergency hospital for Coronavirus cases at the Georgia World Congress Center because hospitals are becoming too full of cases.
