@Tyrade Shift From this report he isn’t nor is any president immune as it is a form of oversight. We have a balance of powers and the court system is one of the 3 branches. So you can sue congress and you can sue the president. Congress can impeach then remove the president the supreme court can in a way make the president have the power to do nothing. On the flip side the President holds alot of power in itself. Congress did at one point before giving it to the president over the decades. The supreme court still has all of its original powers.
In this congress can also sue the president before during and after the impeachment and/or removal process of the president as the court system can to though the court system is not asupposed to to have a basis to either side of the aisle.

There is one small but groundshakingly important precedent set though.
That The POTUS is NOT above Scrutiny in this regard. His whole argument has been that “because he is pres he is immune to the justice system” which they just said he isnt.
This sort of thing can carry into other potential rulings which should continue to uphold that No Person, not even the pres is above the law. Keeping in line with the constitution.
