  1. Full moon Friday the 13th! What a historic day! How will members on both sides be recorded in history forever?

    1. @David M Who are you to criticize me? I don’t have to write lies for money. I know how to spell “constitution”and know how to separate “a lot.” You need to look at your own weaknesses.

    2. @Eazyduzit Not calling them liars, saying that they are being extorted; they know if they defy or speak against Trump he will withhold aid again and they desperately need it.

  2. It’s too bad Nadler couldn’t have cut off the Republican irrelevancy a lot sooner. They had absolutely nothing to contribute to the hearing.

    1. Ironically, today was his fairest and most lucid day in the House. He made one valid point: you can’t impeach a president just for being arrogant. What he didn’t say was you can impeach a president for violating a 1974 reform law meant to curtail abuse of office.

    2. @Dave Schultz Huh? You’re referring to Ambassador Sondland, awarded the EU ambassadorship for his 1 million contribution to Trump’s Inauguration; his testimony was among the 3 most damning of the situation.

    3. @ruth depew but that’s not what the impeachment covers; there is plenty of proven culpability in both Abuse of Office (violation of the 1974 Impoundments Reform Act) and Obstruction of Congress (getting back to Dave Schultz’s comment, Sondland’s comment about he and the House not having access to his own State Department papers).

    1. TK Benge try the hospital channels…the fox channels are supported by the unlimited Dark Monies of Fascist GOP. Plus millions of ADS TO SERVE THE ELITE PIRATES OF THE FAUX “America”.

  3. I would like you to do us a favor though, please publicly announce an investigation into VP Pence flying 800 miles to stay at the Turnberry resort and also the issue of the Air Force paying top dollar for jet fuel and spending taxpayer’s dollars at Turnberry as well. The military aid will flow as soon as I hear you have announced the investigation.

AP FACT CHECK: Blue high-tax states fund red low-tax states

By STEPHEN OHLEMACHER December 9, 2017

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican leaders have spent months promoting the myth that red low-tax states are subsidizing blue high-tax states because of the deduction for state and local taxes.

An Associated Press Fact Check finds it’s actually the other way around. High-tax, traditionally Democratic states (blue), subsidize low-tax, traditionally Republican states (red) — in a big way.

Republicans are trying to eliminate the deduction as part of the sweeping tax package working its way through Congress. They added back a deduction for up to $10,000 in property taxes, in a concession to Republicans from high-tax states such as New York and New Jersey. California Republicans are pushing to extend the deduction to local income taxes, too.

    1. SPZ Aruba ? The trump hid all documents and blocked all material witnesses….mob bosses often own all the judges and the money and the hit men.

    2. @Deanna Delmar yup, the GOP sure did they were looking to stay all night with their stupid nonsensical amendments

    1. Collins and all those GOP members must have tiny little brains if they can’t see that a crime was committed.

    1. @Eazyduzit Not calling them liars, saying that they are being extorted; they know if they defy or speak against Trump he will withhold aid again and they desperately need it.

  4. I thought Halloween was in October – *where have all these **_trolls_** come from* ? Oh, yeah, right! They’re Putin’s Pesky Pokers – slightly annoying but harmless! 🤬

  5. This is giving the GOP a taste of their own medicine. 3 decades of GOP stunts and now they’re getting a taste of it.. GO DEMS!!!!

    1. Also, if they had held the vote last night when Collins demanded, the Republicans would have turned around and shrieked and cried about a “middle of the night coup, waaaaaah”

    2. @Dustin Lynne
No, he/she was sayin’, if the shoe was on the other foot, the Republicans would be doing the same thing…stunt or not.

  6. Collins was more upset about being told what time he had to be at work than he is about the corrupt actions of Trump!
