You have to wonder if Senator Collins got a chance to check in on the chastened president's display today in the East Room of the White House.

  1. He has indeed learned. Learned that he can get away with anything. His crime spree will continue to grow in severity.

  2. The only thing Trump has learned is that the Republican party is filled with slavish little sentient suppositories like Collins, McConnell, and Graham, who are literally tripping over each other to be the next person to crawl up his butt.

  3. Does this sound like a man who has seen the light, and has learned his lesson, or does he sound like a full blown sociopath?
Trump meets pretty much every diagnostic criterion of a sociopath..

    ● Manipulative and Conning:
They never recognize the rights of others, and see their self-serving behaviors as permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. They may dominate and humiliate their victims.

    ● Grandiose Sense of Self:
Feels entitled to certain things as “their right.”

    ● Pathological Lying:
Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a complex belief about their own powers and abilities.

    ● Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt:
A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at their core. Does not see others around them as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, he has victims, and accomplices, who will also end up as victims. ( Cohen, Manafort, Stone, Flynn) The end always justifies the means and they let nothing stand in their way.

    ● Shallow Emotions:
When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would usually upset a normal person. Since they are not genuine, neither are their promises.

    ● Callousness/Lack of Empathy:
Unable to empathize with the pain of their victims, having only contempt for others’ feelings of distress and readily taking advantage of them.

    ● Poor Behavioral Controls/Impulsive Nature:
Rage and abuse. Believe they are all-powerful, all-knowing, entitled to every wish, no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for their impact on others.

    ● Irresponsibility/Unreliability:
Not concerned about wrecking others’ lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.

  4. Dingbat! Susan Collins should be required to watch her interview with Norah O’Donnell every day until she is voted out of office on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

  5. “Learned his lesson” she says? Today he said he did nothing wrong and it was a perfect call. Just because this woman speaks like a woman with autism doesn’t mean the people of Maine have to feel sorry for her and vote for her.
