Go look at the Florida Governor’s website. There’s no reference to COVID on the front page…it’s all about recent appointments he’s made, how he’s pushing back on Biden in Afgan immigrants and how he’s opening more treatment centers. “COVID” is only mentioned once you click through to the treatment center info. No other links. Sheesh.

Science or not, people are getting sick. Thatโs the reality, we can speculate all we want โwhat if we were all just vaccinatedโ but that was a large demand to begin with. We all just have to be tolerant with others and safe with our lives from now on period.

I’m vaccinated and, no, I don’t know what’s in it – neither this vaccine, the ones I had as a child, nor in the Big Mac, or in hot dogs, or in other treatmentsโฆwhether it’s for cancer, AIDS, the one for polyarthritis, or vaccines for infants or children. I trust my doctor when he says itโs needed.
I also don’t know what’s in Ibuprofen, Tylenol, or other meds, it just cures my headaches & my pains …
I don’t know what’s in the ink for tattoos, vaping, or every ingredient in my soap or shampoo or even deodorants. I donโt know the long term effect of cell phone use or whether or not that restaurant I just ate at REALLY used clean foods and washed their hands.

There’s a lot of things I don’t know and never willโฆ
I just know one thing: life is short, very short, and I still want to do something other than just going to work every day or staying locked in my home. I still want to travel and hug people without fear and find a little feeling of life “before”.
As a child and as an adult I’ve been vaccinated for mumps, measles, rubella, polio, chicken pox, and quite a few others; my parents and I trusted the science and never had to suffer through or transmit any of said diseases … just saying.
I’m vaccinated, not to please the government but:
* To not die from Covid-19.
* To NOT clutter a hospital bed if I get sick.
* To hug my loved ones
* To Not have to do PCR or antigen tests to go out dancing, go to a restaurant, go on holidays and many more things to come …
* To live my life.
* To have my kids go back to school and play sports.
* For Covid-19 to be an old memory.
* To protect us.

Me & thee, rd400d. TGH is not only one of the *best* , those folks let you *know* they care. Granted, times are ‘over-the-top’ with battling COVID-19 & variants right now so even they must be stressed to the limit BUT — if I ever need to be hospitalized again, Tampa General is where I’d want to be. Not only an immense amount of expertise but darn near *everyone* truly cares & you really *feel* it. When you’re going through major medical issues, that kindness, that caring is the icing on the cake of expertise that truly helps one *get better* . As my terrific physical therapist would often say, *Ooh-Rah!!*

This doctor treated me, several years ago. He is someone I trust and believe.
Since the beginning I have wondered if this is just a flu or a cold and you choose to be un-vaccinated then please stay home do not go to the hospitals and fill them up, people who actually CARE about life needs those rooms. If this is nothing to worry about, them WHY GO TO HOSPITAL!!!
