You noted ‘what would you rather a whiny group that is more than 50% vaccinated or a less verbal group that is 28% vaccinated”. Then added to that by mentioning the risk on a ‘per capita basis’. By that token, in essence you ARE blaming the surge in cases and lack of ICU beds in Texas on people that are 12% of the population and account for 15% of the cases. On a per capita basis it’s an even stupider argument. Texas has a population of roughly 29.2 million people. Your maths doesn’t math and you are using it to justify your “contributing” comment. It is simply egregious to listen to that Lt Governor’s words and then read your random justification based on flawed numbers. That type of misleading blame and pivot from a government official, is shameful and the fact that your moral compass is so broken it doesn’t even register, is not shocking anymore.We all see who you are now. Would rather be righteous than an apologist for this type of rhetoric.

I grew up a poor, white, Floridian.
When I was a small child you could see the dirt through the floorboards in my house, we didn’t have hot water, and we put logs in the oven compartment to make fire to cook on the top of the range.

It’s kind of the same reason blacks don’t trust police…their experiences have been different than other ethnic and racial groups.

@D. Boss – There was probably one company that did this and there were only 60 victims, not 10s of 1000s. It was one single incident that happened. But, the propaganda that comes out of that makes it literally 10’s of 1000s times worse than it was originally.
It’s the same with the police. The stories are so wild and exaggerated that 90% of blacks believe that they will be killed by the police if they are pulled over.
