What a lot of us seem to forget is the only feelings that are important to him are his own, and they are extremely important.
He knows in some broad sense that we have feelings, that is why he attacks people by name-calling and insulting. He only knows how to insult in the same way it would hurt him and his precious feelings. I think that is why it seems so childish, idiotic, and ineffective to us relatively normal people out here, and why Trumpians think he really “tells it like it is”. Which he doesn’t. That’s pretty good. So true. There people that support him have to be there most Dumb people inn the world. jrok96 not sure what it is you’re getting at. Trump is such a deceitful, despicable, narcissistic, racist, misogynistic, loathsome moron that I would sooner see my pet dog installed as President. Yes, the fact that Biden is not Trump is sufficient. Of course, Biden is a very good person (as even Lindsey Graham will testify) and has many attributes that make him eminently well-qualified to be President but there is literally no one I can think of who would do a worse job as President than Trump.
jrok96 … what I like about Biden is he is a kind, intelligent, organized and experienced man. I especiallly take to heart the opinions that Republicans such as Lindsey Graham have said about Biden, that “Joe Biden is one of the nicest and kindest men you’ll ever want to meet.” Several others who have worked with Biden say, in addition, he is a very intelligent man that has crafted a lot of effective legislation.
The problem with going back and criticizing and nitpicking over some of the legislation … such as the crime bills, is that it was a different time and we had a big problem with violent gangs and dealers (of all ethnicities). They tried the 3 strikes you’re out legislation which worked in the short term, but not in the long term. At the time, I agreed with it… looking through the lens of now, I can see where the problems are with that.
Biden was not my first choice, but I do support him. I think we NEED Joe Biden right now. I’m really burned out on the psycho-narcissist erratic behavior and lying of Donald Trump, not to mention all the damage Trump has done and his total disregard for the Constitution and especially the Bill of Rights portion!

Trump’s solution for the current Coronavirus pandemic with over 110,00 Americans dead in a span of 4 months: Stop Testing. It’s absolutely disgusting how someone this stupid is actually running the country right now. He honestly believes that if we stop testing then miraculously the virus will disappear.
We’re dealing with a man who started life with all the advantages, managed to fail repeatedly, but learned how to cheat the system in a variety of legal and dubious ways, and always had the luxury of a “reset” button when things spiraled out of control (such as bankruptcy, divorce, etc.). He spent the last three and a half years attempting to play the country the same way he played his personal life. However, our country, with its myriad complexities, crises, and nuances, does not have such simple “reset” buttons, and when Trump fails it’s doesn’t cost him cash or property, but human lives. But that won’t stop him from pretending that there IS a reset button out there somewhere, and he’ll keep ignoring the problems until he either finds that mythical button… or we run out of lives to lose.
Anthony Ha … excellent assessment. He also has a history of putting himself in positions of impending failure, just to get the rush of pulling himself out by some con or bankruptcy or a massive loan. This is what lifetime frenemies have said about him. Our country is not run like that, can not be run like that.
Do you notice he also has no true concept of the purpose of a president, nor that he is governed by the constitution and has sworn allegiance to it. He also STILL has no idea what is in the Constitution. He still tries to put through unconstitutional “executive orders” that are just mostly rambling gibberish of his list of brags and grievances according to White House staff. 94% of them have either been overturned or ignored.
Trump may have signed it but he doesn’t mean it because he doesn’t give a dam.

They had the man’s car and address. They could have gone to arrest him there.

Or why didn’t they just do this: let him walk to his sister’s a block away or god forbid, give him a ride, explain what they have to do, but don’t IMMEDIATELY move to taser and guns. Just like cops do a drunk frat boy! He knows a DUI is big trouble, and he panicked and ran. He wasn’t in his right mind. Cops have got to be better the way they handle policing instead of escalating and causing the problem!
@Topper lady – Oh yes, what a great idea, That way he can have a hours-long standoff with police, instead, which may consist of the man using some real weapons he may have at his home against them at some point. If he fought and resisted with police at a fast-food restaurant drive-thru, and had eluded them instead, do you honestly believe he is going to surrender peacefully at home without further incident?
