@fredafc You’re confused . There is no need for the President to concede. Concession is just political politeness. His term ENDS on January 20th a noon exactly 4 years after it began. The Constitution is crystal clear on the Presidential succession process. There is nothing in the Constitution that allows the kind of ad hoc , “who knows what will happen” circumstance you describe. Trump unleashed a trade war with China, imposed duties on product from China, which led to higher prices for product from China to the United States. Industrial growth in the country has not increased as Trump promised. No plant have returned to the United States. Trump has started this war with one goal: he wants to move some of the production from China to India and get a lot of money from this deal.
