Jim Battersbee a “friend of mine” was making around $50,000 a yr in construction in 2016 when Trump took office. Now he’s making around $80,000 due to the rapid growth in the economy and demand for experienced management in the construction trade. All the traded are boomer and things were slow going for a lot of yrs before Trump. Most ppl I know are financially better off now than before Trump. Honestly it’s hard to deny that. Not much has changed for welfare recipients and retired folks but ppl in the work force have definitely benefitted in my opinion.

Idk if you know or not but today is Veterans Day AND it’s the 100th Anniversary Veterans Parade on 5th St in New York City. 35 THOUSAND VETERANS showed up with another 16 thousand active duty and the whole entire event was out of pocket. So our PRESIDENT WROTE A CHECK and PAID for it. Just thought I’d let you know.

He attended the NY parade but he didn’t pay for it, it is put on every year by the United War Veterans Council they raise money from public donations and selling merchandise and the city of New York foots the bill for the traffic control, policing and pedestrian control.
If he made a donation that’s great! Wealthy people should donate because it’s never them and their kids going to war.
It’s a bit hard to take his philanthropy seriously when he was just fined $2mil and his kids made to do community service because they were running a fake charity though 😕
