  1. Havent you heard? We are already underwater and dead…while Al Gore laughs with his pile of money at his oceanfront home. Git yer booster!

    1. @Gage Standingready I guess they’re Star Trek science didn’t want to debate someone in real science. Lol.

    1. @cinder
In the 1970’s, a handful of scientists (not a consensus) indicated that human caused air pollution was increasing and aerosols (particulate matter) in our atmosphere would cause cooling due to an albedo effect. As a result of observations and a switch to cleaner fuel burning, this no longer seen as a problem

    2. @Hosni Mubarak “A handful but not a consensus” just means they didn’t yet have the tools to silence anyone who disagreed with them

    1. More like 40 years ago, and yes they were correct with those early timing points. We clearly could not keep warming within 1°C obviously, and now we are running out of time to keep in under a catastrophic 3°C.

  2. I came to see how Dunning-Kruger was coming along with this topic. The least educated are still the most certain their gut feelings are correct, so all with well with DK.

    1. At a certain point Scott, It’s called indoctrination not education. Maybe you “educated folk” should start another 2 weeks to flatten the curve campaign but for temperature this time

    2. @Okay thank you byeee Ay some point one of you science aliterates will write something that deals with actual science. Heck, you could try to point out anything I wrote that is in error. But since you know you’ve been indoctrinated and are not at all educated on the matter you don’t because you cannot.

Try to at least sound like you passed a science class.

  3. It was refreshing to see Greta delete her “were all doomed in five years tweet from 2018” last week. They also took down the signs in Glacier Park that predicted the glaciers would be gone by now near where I live.

  4. “we’re running out of time” – what isn’t..? And climate change is the issue? Has no one ever tried looking at how the earth has changed in climate since it formed life…? How life forms adapted to the changes that has occurred since before humans were about to evolve into existence?

  5. It’s funny how the date and emissions cut are always changing. I also thinks it’s funny we are talking about 1.5 degrees. Also interesting they claim that weather is tied to this climate change. If the poles are warming more than the equator, wouldn’t the lower temperature differential lead to more stable weather. Interesting that this is what we are seeing.

  6. Yet our little boy Prime Minister does not criticize the country he most admires for continuing to build coal fired power plants.
