  1. republicans: “She had a knife! He had to shoot her!”
Everyone: “And thank goodness she didn’t have a gun, right?”
    republicans: **crickets**

    1. What about the girl in pink… did her life mean nothing??? What if that was your daughter (in the pink)???

    2. @Ray S Jury is still out on that, they’re still checking to see if the girl in pink was a minority or not.

    3. First of all stop putting it into a Republican and Democratic issue. You are just making it a yes or no issue. In the video when the officer arrives the girl is fighting another girl on the ground. He tells her to stop which she does but then goes for the girl in pink. Meanwhile the girl on the ground is being kicked by a boy/ man. The officer stops that. In that moment he’s dealing with two incidents, one of which he has dealt with but the girl is now attacking the girl in pink with a knife. He has no chance of covering the ground before the girl does some serious damage to the other girl. He therefore shoots at the girl in the body otherwise he may hit the girl in pink. He is firing to stop the girl in pink being stabbed and possibly killed. When the girl in pink is being put into a police car she says “she was trying to stab me”.

    1. he was justified, looks like to me–and I’m Democrat and liberal as they come. He had to try to save the other girl’s life.

  2. Well then if you don’t have a taser in the front of your belt you should be charged with murder as an officer

  3. Who knows. Maybe a taser wouldn’t have been able to drop her. The choices at that moment may have been that, but the choices for people generally aren’t limited to that. People can invent new things. A non-lethal that is more reliable. HG Wells a century ago suggested a non-lethal sleeping gas. I don’t know, but there must be some way towards a more humane and peaceful future.

    1. 1. That is a god awful and poorly thought out idea, the time it takes a sleep gas to set in is too long to stop someone who has a knife just a foot away from another person.
      2. She had clearly made up her mind to stab another teenage girl, at that point you are not allowed to expect police to walk on eggshells to make sure you don’t die.

  4. Set this incident aside. The officer made the right call. But, if law enforcement believes citizens are going to stand their and watch them murder someone again? It’s going to get very very bloody. Sucks, but true.

  5. THE ONLY PLACE WHO ARE LEAVING THE FORCE ARE THE ONE’S WHO LOVES TO ABUSED THEIR AUTHORITY.
LET THEM GO.. THEY DON’T BELONG THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE..

  6. It was tragic.16 year old Bryant was about to stab the other girl. The guy in the grey hoodie should have grabbed 16 year old Bryant. Why didn’t he do anything? The officer shot Bryant because she was about to stab another girl.

  7. WHEN IT BECOMES NECESSARY TO SHOOT A PERSON FOUR TIMES IN OTHER TO PREVENT A STABBING.??
HOW FULLISH ONE HAVE TO BE TO BELIEVE THAT??

  8. Well from the things that have came out so far they showed up to her house to fight so in a way she was kinda justified in trying to stab her the officer just didn’t know how it all started

    1. @Wykee Brown i said kinda and if you show up to somebody’s house to fight and something happens to you that’s on you and nobody else cause you should’ve never been there in the first place that’s pretty much like if you break into somebody’s house and get shot by the owner you can’t try and blame the owner

    2. @Paul Wilson there is alot of cases of cops shooting or hurting citizen who have complied and the information is accessible to the public

  9. Carmen Best did her BEST to provide cover for the brain dead zombies posing as cops here in Seattle. NOW she has all the answers?

  10. Why is the racial demographics of police departments so imbalanced, especially, in black communities? Always majority white, when they do not live in the communities they police.

  11. Then I guess the officer should have just turned his back and watched the girl get stabbed to death in the stomach. Can’t have it both ways.

  12. chase people around in public with knives, win stupid prizes, I mean come on.
arm cops with bean bag guns, i swear you could stop sh*t like this without death
