    1. Yyu:Exactly and he said that he’s not stepping down then that really means that you are doing a coup!!!!

  1. The difference is that in Brazil the military is supporting Bolsonaro. In USA the military didn’t support the coup. Our situation in Brazil is very concerning

  2. Former US President Trump and the Brazilian President are being advised by the same Russian handlers.

    1. Brazil’s Lula says Zelenskiy ‘as responsible as Putin’ for Ukraine war
      Reuters may 2022

    2. @Glory to Israel Kadosh Yeah and Lula also is a supporter of China. We are under a dark time here in Brazil… But hopefully, this years election we can steer away from those problems

  3. I was in Brazil recently and randomly found myself walking through a Bolsonaro rally. Felt like I was walking through Brazil’s version of a Trump rally! 🤮

    1. Those who were in prison along with the political cronies were Bolsonaro’s predecessors. And they have a speech very similar to what the people on Twitter and the US media do, which is “we defend Democracy, we are democracy, it is for democracy”. The Lords of Democracy were arrested. By coincidence, they were all released years later by the judges of the prema Court (judges who were put there by the same Lords of Democracy), claiming that they should not have been tried in the state of Paraná, but in the Capital. Current president is a cute baby close to the mafia that ruled the country.

  4. Another country with grave social inequalities and poor education… resembles a recent situation in the US and knowing what happened there makes this a “history repeats itself” moment.

  5. Will the new Junta stop destroying the rain forest and build sewer plants rather than dumping raw sewage into the nation’s waterways? I’ve long argued that if Brazil cannot be compelled to preserve the rain forest (which this planet NEEDS to process carbon and produce water vapor world-wide) then the global community ought to take the country over. The corruption in Brazil is off the charts and, unfortunately for them, they happen to own a piece of the Earth that every living creature on this planet relies on.

  6. If America can get rid of Trump I guarantee the good people of Brazil can get rid of Bolsonaro. Stay strong Brazil 🇧🇷.

    1. @Ape Like Thinking well, you began by saying that a republican would win in 2024 and that you thought it would lead to violence.

  7. Why can’t we have a figure like Lula in the US? He’s so much better than the garbage we get to vote for.

    1. We have plenty of corrupt politicians, in the US. We really don’t need another. Or have you forgotten why he went to prison?

  8. Well ,when you have Steve Bannon & Jason Miller’s trip down to Brazil to hand deliver Trumps election playbook you can bet the plan is in place!

    1. Russia and China interested in most of South America Countries that they could profit from. Gold and other precious metals, Agricultural Land. China have loan millions of $$ to some of the smaller Countries. Also Jamaica in the Caribbean, which of cause they except. Some West Indian Countries like Trinidad was also offered, don’t know if they accept.

  9. he’s taking a page right out of Trump’s playbook. “the only way I lose is if the vote is rigged!” thats a great thing to say in a democracy.

    1. Sad to the Bone .they have 12 ppl that could run .but ls seem brazilian ppl like lula and bolsario

  10. Da Silva has to win for the sake of the people of Brazil otherwise they is going to be a revolution in the streets of Brazil.

  11. “I have three options- death, jail, or victory.” wow. using a bit of a guilt trip?! vote for me or i’m going to die or go to jail?!! thats not your problem Brazilians!! vote for who you think is best with honor and integrity and for democracy!

  12. Lets fight against populism and fight it relentlessly. Populism is hurtful to the economy especially in this globalized world. Brazilians should be wise enough to oust Bolsonaro out.

  13. Jail, death or victory!
He won’t have a choice. People will choose. And he may go to jail if he is judged as having committed crimes.

  14. The Intercept:
“Tuesday, the Supreme Court ruled in Lula’s favor, finding in a 3-2 decision that Moro had been a biased judge when he oversaw the Car Wash case against the ex-president.

Two of the panel’s judges had already voted in 2018 that Moro acted with political animus when sentencing Lula, and two had ruled that Moro was not at fault. A final judge, Supreme Court Minister Nunes Marques, had asked for more time to make a decision.

On Tuesday, however, one of the judges who had ruled in Moro’s favor in 2018, Minister Cármen Lúcia, reversed her decision and ruled that the ex-judge’s decisions had been tainted by political bias, shoring up a three-vote majority for Lula. Lúcia’s initial vote had come before The Intercept reported on a trove of materials that exposed the coordination between Moro and prosecutors, among other revelations, and she had previously indicated that she might change her decision.
These two parallel developments in the Supreme Court are the latest in a series of blows that the Car Wash investigation has suffered in the last two years. The narrative around Car Wash began to unravel in June 2019 with the launch of The Intercept’s investigative series. The Intercept Brasil published more than 100 articles showing, among other things, that Moro inappropriately coordinated with prosecutors and brought in evidence from external sources that did not pass through proper legal channels.

In addition, The Intercept Brasil revealed that wiretapping on Lula’s phones was kept from the public; that there was a plot to leak information to the Venezuelan opposition with the intent of overthrowing President Nicolás Maduro; and that chief prosecutor Deltan Dallagnol gave paid lectures to the very same banks he would later be tasked with investigating.
Car Wash was instrumental in Bolsonaro’s election, both by stoking resentment of the political classes in general and, specifically, taking Lula out of the 2018 race, when his high popularity ratings suggested that he could have won.

Now, however, the tables are turning: Lula is back, and even the Supreme Court has recognized that his antagonists in the Car Wash probe held political motivations of exactly the sort they had imputed on their targets.

Exactly one month after releasing Palocci’s testimony, and nine months after signing Lula’s arrest warrant, Moro resigned his judgeship and accepted the invitation to serve as Bolsonaro’s justice minister. The role, as Moro took office, would accrue new powers, leading the press to call the ex-judge one of Bolsonaro’s superministers.”

    2. @Glory to Israel Kadosh No, he is not. The one that moved his army over the border and started bombing civilians is the one to blame! Period.

  15. It’s a sad commentary on the state of US affairs when another country says don’t let happen here what happened to democracy in America.

  16. What baffles me is not the fact that these con-men would do anything to remain in power, but the fact that the masses don’t recognize the evil in their faces, gestures and rhetoric 🙏🏼
