  1. Dang lady. Lucky most Canadians are wilderness champs. Of course somebody leapt into a raging rapid to help her out. That’s how we do!

  2. You’d think the climate scientists would want to protect their credibility by politely declining the offer the appear on a human interest story about a woman falling in a river…. But nope, everyone wants to be on TV I guess.

    2. @fireandcopper You’re being hyperbolic. If they make a habit of participating frivolously in human interest stories then they risk developing a frivolous reputation. Nothing about their contribution is central to this story. It’s purely a story about a woman accidentally falling in a river and being fortuitously rescued. Exactly as the title suggests.
