    1. They’re more likely to start with the ‘light’ thing by shoving a flashlight up their butts. They’ve let Trump stick something else up there for the last 3 years already.

  1. This would also apply to prisons, jails, group homes and homeless shelters
Oops, better include the military, fire departments police departments, mass transit systems, etc.

    1. @Mind Freshener It’s not about robbery. It’s the alternator into a more reptilian minded utopia. It’s definitely a simplification.

    2. Mind Freshener is just jealous because Rachel is a respected journalist with a huge following and freshener is just a bozo that nobody pays any attention to.

    3. @Prunejuice His “huge following” is mostly in the nursing homes, mostly retired Liberals who had government related jobs and never had to work hard a day in their lives. They only support him because they feel guilty and want somebody to justify their wasted lives of mooching on the tax payer.

  2. Who questions nursing home deaths? It makes you wonder how many corona deaths have been swept under the carpet.

    1. @Arron Smith no, people who have particular antibodies may be asymptomatic and may never become sick…. you are just being stupid now. none of what you posted addresses what I said. i suspect you just want to argue. “none of that makes sense” is not a rebuttal. anyone with a computer and keyboard can google how antibodies work so that wasn’t even a serious question and again you did not rebut a thing I said.

    2. @Crystal Giddens Show a source before calling some one names. How am I stupid? Tell me, what is an antibody? Where does it come from? What does it do? What is a single piece of evidence you can provide..?

    3. @Crystal Giddens My efforts to provoke you are misguided, my apologies for that… but none the less, your understanding of antibodies is wrong… Yes people who are close proximity are likely to get the same diseases.. which will condition the immune system to produce a specific type of antibody that can physically attach to and disable the virus by preventing it from entering a cell and infecting it at the cellular level.

Unless you’re being given a medical therapy treatment (such an a plasma injection containing the antibodies produced from a previously infected person, or a vaccine) your body is not going to contain any COVID-19 related antibodies.

What you seem to be repeatedly suggesting is that because the person next to you is producing antibody-A, that you and the people around them would also start producing antibody-A just because.

Here is a short video – (2m24s) from
Vaccine Makers Project that cover the ground floor basics of Antibodies.

    4. @Arron Smith No, I am “suggesting” the reason for specific antibodies being produced by living cells is not entirely understood. I am suggesting that folks within a specific geographic location, will eventually all or almost all develop the same antibodies (as is evident by the warning to Americans, don’t drink the water if they visit Mexico). I am suggesting the environment plays a YUGE role in the antibodies produced by the living cells so it should be no surprise when folks in the same nursing home develop the same antibodies. This is understood.

    5. Keith Mc our own government announced that if someone is in a nursing home and had say 2 weeks to live and they die and just happen to have covid 19 they pronounce cause of death covid 19 regardless of any condition or disease they may have been dealing with. We are living in the twilight zone

  3. I’m telling you people, we have to reset this system. These “best and brightest” crippled our country for absolutely nothing. Even in the face of evidence they continue with these entirely unconstitutional mandates.
I mean, we seriously have to revolt and take our country back from these self serving idiots.

    1. @George Kordos —Well the states are opening up as we speak and there isn’t going to be any danger. You’ll have to wait for the new propaganda/lies to give me the next lame excuse after these states start thriving while the rest of you absolute morons are in your safe space.

    2. Bobby Booshay Not sure where you’re from but as a New Yorker, I can assure you that states will not be okay and start “thriving” while ignoring the virus. People around me are literally dying and neighbors are testing positive, it’s easy for people to deny the necessity of quarantine when you don’t experience the impact of the virus first hand

  4. I noticed the WHO symbol at the beginning of the news briefing. These people must really think we are all dummies.

    1. Kgludoe Gskyeo WOW, what a come back, I remember doing come backs like that when I was like three….

    1. @T. R. Campbell So than just an idea they should tell people they’re not going to spend the taxpayers money on tests that aren’t guaranteed to work, assume everyone in the country has it and get on mass producing ppe to send to everybody so people can protect themselves instead or at the very least mass educate the masses on what the next steps are.

    2. Not a disgrace is because this is such a new virus and we are constantly learning more about it. For instance the virus can also enter the human body through the mucus in the eye, and then it reproduces in the throat. That is something new. Early on researchers discovered the protein spike that the virus uses so now they have to come up with a workable testing mechanism. Once that is done then they have to gear up for manufacturing. I believe the equipment is out there, the problem is each date has bureaucratic impediments (Constant committee meetings to establish policy and procedure, the bid process, the shipping criteria, and then the distribution process) which causes delays. So far the response has been overwhelming and impressive.

    3. Roger C Stop being a racist. According to the slave records Caucasians were slaves also so stop with your selective racist identity. There are no slaves nor slaveholders alive in the United States to pay or to receive reparation. I am glad that you’re so opposed to slavery because slavery is alive and well in Africa in the Middle East. A young Somali male can bring as much as $150 USD. I urge you now to put your money where your mouth is and go to Somalia, go to various Arab countries and stop slavery now. Go now go to Somalia fight Slavery.

    4. MajorEVEfan I believe our response is a shining light when compared to the rest of the world. Numerous countries to include Norway have returned testing supplies sent to them by China because they are faulty. Let’s not forget the incompetence of the Chinese communist in allowing this virus to spread and then the incompetence of the WHO for not warning nations in a timely manner.

    5. Tristania64 When you look at the data we have spent trillions of taxpayer money. I think this whole thing is media driven. Let us just treat the symptoms and not get her panties in a twist about testing.

  5. It just boggles the mind that a country that touts to be the greatest CANNOT GET THEIR TESTING for the people that they CLAIM they so want so much to protect ….

  6. If they started testing sooner like the rest of the world, then we could’ve done something about all of this. But nope.

    1. Jeff Gibson Sampling the population to watch for outbreaks would help. The tests are accurate enough and trends can be watched. Errors are nowhere near 50%, and lab technicians will make less mistakes with familiarity doing them.

    2. @Yakav8r55m how about using a test already developed instead of recreating the wheel. CDC is why were in this mess, they wanted their own test which ultimately failed and so we went with the rna original one offered by the equally inept WHO

    3. @Jeff Gibson oh…and you are right? Everyone else is wrong and some guy named Jeff Gibson is correct. That ends it people…. nothing more to see here. Jeff has spoken…. although spoken rather stupidly. Glad we have you around Jeff. It amuses me your all-knowing.

    4. @tim murphy Why do YOU think they did not test everybody–universal testing–during the AIDS epidemic of the 80’s. That disease actually was 50% or so, fatal to the patients. But they didn’t test everybody because the effect of false positives and false negatives were counter productive to the goal of curing people. The only people who don’t remember are the most uneducated people in the country.

    1. Wrong. The whole world has been struggling with bum tests from the beginning and still we don’t agree on one best test.

  7. The evangelicals sure have been quiet , while counting all that tax money they don’t have to pay.

    1. @joe joe …. Deflection is the name of the game for evangelicals. They elected trump to get “right to life” judges on the courts, and for something about moving the Israeli capital to Jerusalem, or what ever excuse they needed at the time. Now they’re stuck defending all his lies, broken promises, racism, nepotism, cruelty, and just plain stupidity, by calling him their “Cyrus,” of the Bible, you know, the great “Warrior.” Good ole cadet bone spurs, who avoided service at all costs, now a great “Warrior,” what a complete failure their attempt at a Theocracy has become for our country.

    1. Really? We do know that it is a common flu (Coronavirus) with a little bit of the aids virus mixed in. I.e. a bio.weapon. It is great that there are tried and true meds that work to build up the immune system (since there is no such thing as a “cure” for a virus) but they won’t use those. Instead they will require a vaccine that basically becomes “one” with you. Look it up “quantum dot technology” by Bill Gates. Oh and you will become one with the surveillance/“rat your family and friends” database that Bloomberg proposed the other day. Yes, they say it will track your every move…and how far away you are from another person (must be 6ft), your temp, and how much money you spent on your last night out. I do wish I were being facetious, but If you think I’m kidding i suggest you just do a little research. It really is amazing how much they got away with so fast. Well really, we gave it to them when we stayed in our houses like good little sheep…all because of a virus that will be proven to have killed less people than the common flu does each year. They say it will most likely come around again in the fall and i don’t doubt it. 5G should be up and fully operational by then and we’ll finally get to use all those beds and respirators everyone has been going crazy about. This picture pretty much describes what China and Italy saw when they flipped the 5G switch to “on”. And those it affected most were the ones who had recently gotten a flu shot. Sorry I didn’t have better news to leave you with. Oh, one more thing, Do not get tested, they just want your antibodies, and whatever you do, DO NOT GET VACCINATED!!!

  8. IF ANYBODY BELIEVES THE CORONA DEATH COUNTS ARE ACCURATE IN THE U.S. ARE PROBALY THE SAME PEOPLE THAT THOUGHT THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL POLLS WERE ACCURATE…….NOW CRY

  9. Just saying if everyone like me is staying home because of mild symptoms without a test, the outbreak is far larger than the numbers show simply due to lack of testing available. We just don’t have enough tests to get accurate numbers on this and I would go so far as to say the numbers likely only show 1/10th or potentially less of the actual outbreak.

    1. Aevi Wright yes, many are sick with mild symptoms and are not tested. That will make the ratio of deaths/positive cases much lower. Similar to seasonal flu.

  10. This is Trump’s fault. My God, there should have been a rule against a lying tax evader from being president…

  11. “…had receive about 500 hundreds test kits…”
How do read this “500 hundreds”?
    What’s the actual number then?
