The people in Lebanon and in Hong Kong
      are dissatisfied with their governments.
In 1997, Hong Kong stopped being a British protectorate and became part of China. Hong Kong has traditionally been much more democratic and capitalist than mainland China which is governed by a small Communist elite. The residents are resisting the autocratic government centered in Beijing.
The people of Lebanon are protesting economic problems brought on by government corruption.
Government corruption, economic woes and betrayal of traditional democratic ideals are the cause of discontent in this country, too.

    1. Hong Kong is homogeneous, Lebanon is defined by religious sectarianism, if the people are dividing themselves and cannot trust each other, Christians trust the West and Israel over tge muslims, Sunni muslims trust S.Arabia and Palestinian refugees over the Shiaa Lebaneses, Shiaa trust Iran over Sunni countrymen.. there is noway for a United revolution in this situation.

    2. @younes jorge I will agree with you on this one.. different factions comes with different ideas understandings believes and also ways of dealing with things…

  1. Good for them!! We’re all sick of corruption and crooked politicians. Best of luck to the ppl of Lebanon. ❤❤

    1. Don’t forget the taxes too.. but for some reason one party thinks it’s ok to raise taxes Everytime they are elected.. and in order to pay for the things the one party wants to start will have to raise taxes sky high.. just to pay for one of those things.

  2. Corruption all over the world for centeries, when will this human norm end? Corruption kills…corruption doesn’t allow children to eat, corruption kills dreams, it is the one human trait that I most despise.

  3. I love seeing this. It’ll be the overthrow of the French aristocracy all over again, and we get to watch it in HD.

    1. The plague of Lebanon is the Palestinian refugees who started the civil war with the help of Arafat and the Sunni minions. Lebanon was the pearl of the east.

    2. @younes jorge YOU’RE telling a liberalAss reamer facts … That’s like telling a democrat that Obama WAS a worthlessPOS… THEY don’t care …

  4. This revolution is happening due to an accumulation of taxes on everything and everywhere not only on whatsapp
This is the first time in Lebanon’s history all the lebanese people are unite, no one cares about religions or anything, they are all together fighting the corrupted government.
We all hope to see results 😕❤️

    1. I agree..in order to pay for the things one party wants to start taxes will have to be raised sky high..just to pay for one of those things. ..no thank you..I’ll keep my money
