    1. @pneumatictrousers I am neither an atheist nor a spokesperson for every atheist on the planet. I just observed that your silly statements did not constitute an argument.

  1. I feel the name “global warming “ should be charged to something else. The trumpklan can’t figure out that it means all seasons get more extreme each year.

    1. @Jim Myers In actual fact sea levels have barely risen at all, unless of course data has been manipulated……………….lol

    2. @Chris Stevens Grow a pair and look up Miami-flooding. You keep saying that but when the City Council is taking it up as and Urgent matter, maybe it IS happening.
Stop hiding behind your AJ conspiracy bs. This is too important to play around with.

    3. @Jim Myers I wonder how Co2 causes land mass to sink? All of this stuff is complete nonsense and thats supported by the fact none of the lies have ever come true!

    4. @Chris Stevens Are you insane or just maybe ten? Melting ice caps and glaciers around the world are causing the sea level to rise. All. Over. The. World.
Look it up. Put the name of any major coastal city into the google machine with the word “flooding”. Or are you too cowardly to try that?

    5. @Jim Myers The scare story of Miami being underwater in 10 years dates back to the 80s! Comparing recent aerial photos to ones taken 30 years ago confirms things remain pretty much exactly the same. Facts though are of NO concern to those with religious beliefs………………

    1. And back in 1989, even Republicans realized that this was a problem. Too bad the fossil fuel industry was more interested in profit than species survival, and lobbied against addressing the problem.

    2. Human beings are constructed fundamentally for self destruction through violence and greed. It’s written into our genome. The question is can we overcome our genetics by reaching a self awareness that sees others as being as important as ourselves. IMO, we’ll destroy ourselves first.

    3. @Marti Waterman One I hear from those idiots on the right all the time is “Science doesn’t care about your feelings.” I wish they’d take their own advice to heart.

  2. On the bright side the oil industry can drill easier in the polar regions. All they need is 2/3 of us eliminated. We are decimating the equator and brown people are the enemy. Do you think it is a coincidence?
Do the walls need slats for any other reason than to be able to shoot through them? It sure won’t stop smuggling…

    1. @pneumatictrousers  @pneumatictrousers  simple, USA has emitted much more historical emissions in total than China, nobody except clueless morons like you would dispute that. Thus USA has more imperative to act. We have barely begun to feel the emissions of China yet.

    2. @Jack Gray Show me the source data for your claim of CO2 emissions from humans. I want to see the empirical evidence. Back up your claims and I will consider your opinion more without laughing

  3. And yes, today Donald Trump has slaughtered another couple of million people (over the next few decades) by helping to make our water dirtier. Resist the PRO DEATH party and vote blue.

  4. Yeah, why would Time dedicate an issue to the biggest and most urgent catastrophic threat in the history of humanity? 🤦‍♂️
Have we done anything since 1990? YES WE HAVE DOUBLED THE MAN-MADE CO2 IN THE ATMOSPHERE!
We have created this problem almost entirely in the last generation.
We have ONE generation to fix it, STARTING NOW.

    1. RCH this the same threat that was going to put NYC underwater by 2008 and eradicate arctic ice in summer by 2018? Effects of Co2 being proportional means doubling man made outputs have had ZERO effect………

  5. 70% of emissions have come from 100 companies.
Personal choices matter but they are useless without radical change to our system. Your vote matters more than anything else right now. Then your actions and your example.
Please act today to give our kids hope. 🙏🏻

    1. Your kids have hope, this is a HOAX! Obama doesn’t think so. He buys a house next to the ocean, 15 mil, THIS YEAR! . Apparently unfazed by the “RISING OCEANS” Oh MY!

    1. Because the news media for years has been afraid to talk about it much in fear of the audience changing the channel. Less ad revenue.

  6. Climate Crisis was proved by 97% scientist years ago. The debate is with insane people and you might as well debate with a gold fish. Might even get a better conversation with the gold fish.

    1. No it was not, you mean 97% of scientist from the U.N. say that. Funny how to avoid this discussion, the guy say the facts are in, no need to debate it now, is a sham. They don’t want a debate, in depth because the hoax will be exposed. Here’e a riddle for you fish out there, Why did Obama buy a 15 mil home near the ocean this year? Answer, it’s because he’s not afraid of RISING OCEAN WATERS! You people need to think and understand how media lies to you, how the guy says no need to debate because it’s already proven and she’s ask so, what you’er saying is no need for discussion because… sounds convincing don’t it? Nice little script read perfectly by the two.

  7. Yet the political figures and oil companies will be safe. They claim “Oh the jobs!” But the issue is they already caused trillions of dollars in damage and thousands of lives to be lost. Caused so much natural land to be destroyed it should be illegal at this point.

  8. Only the most uneducated doubt that Anthropogenic Global Warming is real and an Existential Threat to our species.

    1. @Make Racists Afraid Again I agree. We have got to stop all this immigration of people from 3rd world countries to the industrialized western countries. It is time to get serious about saving the environment.

    2. @Mark Haddox You appear to be the first conservative to understand climate science. Now if we could get you to stick to the topic and not segue into your political tirade.
