A tornado emergency warning was issued for Metro Little Rock, after a powerful tornado touched down in Arkansas.

An outbreak of violent thunderstorms was forecast to impact more than a dozen states on Friday, and reports of tornadoes began Friday afternoon, including one that roared through the Little Rock metro area, damaging buildings and tossing cars around.
Injuries were reported, but an exact count was not yet available.
